jenga
workington NEED to get aresult from this meeting. not too sure of the line ups. worky will have r/r at 5 i guess for kyle howarth. mr wells needs to turn up for this one we must get something out of this or its game over. cant see worky getting any more away results this season . so hit the ground running chaps. R/R AT 5 , NOT GOOD.
Charlieboy
Big meeting for Sheffield if we are to avoid the wooden spoon.Cant afford no more home defeats.Wilson at reserve weakens us.Could go either way this meeting but hope we can pull off a win and get 3 points. Triple.H.
Have WorKKington changed their name for a reason is it because they've found what's known as a "Poolerool" which means they can sign KK at reserve on a reassessment of his original EL assessed average or some other daft loophole. Or was it just a misspelling.

R/R AT 5 , NOT GOOD. Â The way they are going at the moment I would be pretty disappointed if we got nothing from Peterboro? Â Have WorKKington changed their name for a reason is it because they've found what's known as a "Poolerool" which means they can sign KK at reserve on a reassessment of his original EL assessed average or some other daft loophole. Tigerite
Tigers needs a big improvement on last week or we won't score another league point this season.

jenga
oh,O. kyle gone from crutches to superman in 4 days. hope he can get some form going and not the form from p/boro when he last tried a come back. a nice 3/4 points would be useful at this moment in time, whatever kyle scores it will be well above what r/r would have got.. at last , 7 men and nothing else. well done on the victory lads.lol. Lord Lucan
Never a good sign going from injured one day to fit the next, didn't work out last time for Kyle so have to hope he's on the money this? Â With so many matches in hand of everyone else some away points will do us the world of good and that needs to start tonight, didn't do very well here last time so an improved performance required, dont expect Steady to look back once he hits the front so need to be 2nd/3rd in his races at least? Â Judging by P,boro's poor show at Rye last night we could quite easily take that 6th spot with a minimum of effort but we need to help ourselves with some away pts and not rely on others falling apart, easily good enough for at least a point but 3 would be better? A lot will depend on how Kyle actually goes under race conditions coz Sheff will exploit that and any other under par riders, just like they did last time so we have to be stronger all round!! Â Worst case scenario for us just the 1pt, have to hope for better and go for the 3 at least!!
SCB
Should probably get in early - Nico Covatti - Humble pie. Fair play.
topgun
Another poor performance on the road when is this team going to have a go with results like this we will never make the play off .
Cue Ball
Not sure where to start.... The entire team rode superbly. Was going to pick out Steady's heat 9 ride, but all 6 riders had at least one brilliant race. Â Workington helped with not being that good, but think we could've beaten anybody tonight Edited September 4, 2014 by Cue Ball
jenga
what a huge disappointment for all.,we wont get another point on the road, unless we tonk the panthers. cant see that happening at all.maybe a home win against glasgow, deffo defeat against zummerzet and maybe a 4 points against sheff at home. no chance of any thing against the monarchs, so looks like season over for us. roll ; on rustys doo. Â if worky run next year. try and get away without double uppers . speedway has gone from a good sport to a mish mosh of silly and stupid rules and do the fans no favours at all.. could be worse though, could be in the elite league and watching real dross being sold as speedway. spin king
Massive performance from the Tigers, and after what was a lackluster performance last week from Sheffield, this just what the doctor ordered. Â The Comets were poor, no very poor and a meeting that they must have been confident of taking 4 points of a weakened Sheffield. Â If I was a Comets fan I would be deeply upset with this defeat as the scoreline frankly flattered you. Â But tonight I am proud of all of the Sheffield riders all did the club proud tonight. Lord Lucan
So much for trying to be positive, still think that we are the most likely team to accept the poison chalice of sixth in the league owing to us having so many matches in hand!! Â Really dont want that to happen though as our away form is quite simply awful at the moment, couldn't win an argument never mind three points and whoever is in the top slots have mullered us once already and likely to do so again? Honestly thought we could get at least a point from Sheff this time especially with a full team but, we seem to have gone backwards, a worse performance than last time, dont know where the fight has gone we just appear to be going through the motions? Â Going to be nigh on impossible for any away points now cepting another bad night from P,boro next week so the best we can hope for is the remaining 12pts from our home dble headers and hope it's either "enough" or, on this form, not enough and we can call it a day!! We'll do well just to finish the league programme, think we'd better just stick to that?
Charlieboy
Great performance from the tigers and a welcome win.Couple of poor rides from lanham then he came to life. Each rider had at least one cracking ride, lets hope it continues and we can remain injury free.Cant see andre back this year so a lot of pressure on r/r.
Shadders
If I was a Comets fan I would be deeply upset with this defeat Never mind them, that's peed me off too. Was counting on the Comics to take a points at least away with them
jamlad
If you can't run a bottom of the league team close pretty much no point of making the playoffs !! We will be the first team picked if we were in them anyhow. Time to draw a line under this season, best team on paper but garbage on the track , hopefully we have speedway at Worky again next season and have a good shake up , cos for one reason or another it just hasn't happened this year . EIS002
Leigh had bike problems but could not swap quick enough before his R/R changed bike and was on it. This team needs Leigh's experience and commitment to bring on the younger / future Tigers.
