Steve0
I stick by what I said earlier - Poole were robbed! I'm not really interested in t!t-for-tat he got what he deserved rubbish - the fact is if a rider is taken out of a race from external contact by no fault of his own (whether it's by a team mate or not), the rider who clatters into him should be excluded. Let's look at it another way - a rider goes past another and somehow manages to pull the other riders cut-out from the bike and their bike rightly stops - do you think that's acceptable? If you do then that is another reason why speedway is a joke! Edited September 6, 2014 by Steve0
foreverblue
Poole got away with it a bit there sneaking a point due mainly to Newman taking Comptons rides. Can only see Coventry for the league now why in your strange world is anybody pointing out facts having a dig? Brum was merely pointing out that Poole will be weaker without Ward and there are not really any guests up to the task. Even your own fans can see that and have actually put forward intellectual debates and postings. Unfortunatly you have this desire to have a moan at the same people all the time for merely saying what all Poole fans are saying. Please try and add something sensible to the debate Dont think it made much difference we had 3 riders in heat 9 so. only ganed a couple. marko
From what I have seen of Lewis around Poole that track would suit him a treat, don't get me wrong Arena can be a good little race track but most of the time it does not really suit a rider like Lewis who needs just a tad more grip than most riders are comfortable with on those tight bends. Regardless of your opinion though it is good that the post match debate is centred around the racing which was fast and sometimes more than a little furious rather than guest riders or rain. Ok maybe a little controversy with the referee calls but in an fortunate it almost added to the drama. That match wont be forgotten in a hurry. Ps nice to see Davey leave his alto ego at home tonight, that was absolute classic Davey Watt in action, the sort that would be a good guest for the Pirates in future weeks
foreverblue
No doubt he is on about Bridger who will sign for Poole and say its the move he needs to re-ignite his career. Then during the season he will score badly, blame it on other people and threaten to quit. AGAIN.Thought bridger rode very well as he did at poole on wednesday but I dont see why just because of a natter with matt ford makes him nailed on for next year!Davy watt rode well too until heat 13 but he wont be at poole either, rather have shamek back. Penny Cross
From the images on Bet365, I think Steve0 has summed the situation up perfectly. Edited September 6, 2014 by Penny Cross

Thus Lakeside were 'robbed' of a 45-44 win!you can stick to your view. You are a Lakeside supporter so this is to be expected. Does not mater your view does not count only the refs.
E I Addio
Congratulations to all the Poole fans that came up, who seemed to be a good natured crowd and I wish them and their team well for the remainder of the season. I enjoyed the meeting. Lakeside were never going to make the play-offs anyway, so I am not going get wound up about possible controversies in the last home meeting of the season. The bottom line was that Lakeside couldn't compensate for the loss of Kim Nilsson who was away gaining second place in the Swedish Championship and is a far better rider than he was when he last rode for us. 2 points from Aron Summers who looked well off the pace was never going to be enough . Taking everything into account I think a draw was a reasonable result. More important was that after the problems of the last few weeks the season finished with an exciting match before a decent crowd. Interesting programme notes by Jon Cook. His comments suggest that the relationship between him and Muddlo is a very frosty one. By contrast, Cookie made paid a glowing tribute to Peter Karlsson the man , as opposed to Peter Karlsson the rider, so it seems the two remain pals off track even though PK's form tailed off this year. He also gave the clearest hint that Richard Lawson is the first name on the team sheet for next year and I would say that probably every Lakeside supporter will go along with that. Looks like Kim Nilsson is very likely to be back as well. I think we have probably seen the last of Davey as a Hammer, except for the remaining away match. Personally I really like Davey and overall I think he has had a good three years with the club. His partnership with PK especially in 2012 and 2013 produced some great speedway and I wouldn't have missed it for the world but things have kind of run their course and I think everyone knows its time to freshen things up and re-structure the team. Finally a word about heat 15. It always amazes me that people like Steve O sit at home watching the limited images on Bet 365 and think they can somehow see everything that went on. Consider this:- Chains come off for all kinds of reasons, not necessarily because of collisions. What Bet365 probably didn't show was that a few heats earlier Richard Lawsons chain came off at a point very close to the point where Magic and Kildemand touched in Heat 15. Nobody was near Lawson when it happened , it just came off on its own. Now, Magic and Killer touched just as killer was locking up a bit to pull back from the airfence. Who can say with certaintywhether it came off because Magic knocked it off or because the frame was flexing or for whatever reason Lawsons came off? All we can say with certainty is that the rules say that when a rider is not under power when the race is stopped he should not be allowed in the re-run. Now, turning to the re-un of heat 15, whatever the reason for Kildemands chain coming off it came off just as he locked under pressure from Bridger coming off bend 4. Who is to say that it didn't come off maybe for the same reason it came off at the tin=me of the collision with Magic ? Danny King who was right behind was apparently saying afterwards that the chain came off before Lewis reached Killer. As it turned out I am quite glad Killer was put back in heat 15 because it produced the most exciting and controversial heat 15 since Matej Zagar threw a punch at Piotr Swiderski in the middle of heat 15 in a Swindon match 5 years ago, but it is a bit tedious when people sit in front of the limited images of bet 365 and think their limited opinion is the only one . Anyway. good match to finish the season. Let's hope there will still be speedway in 2015.

heathen chemistry
clearly a loophole has arisen......if your not so good reserve gets injured in ht 2 then the other rather much better reserve takes all his remaining rides can only lead to clubs faking an injury

Agrotron
For those suggesting LBR will ride for Pirates in 2015, I would welcome him he rides Poole well and think the track would suit him plus he is British so all good.
