Lakeside V Poole (part 2) Friday 5th September.

Recommended Posts

I am sure a decent crowd will be there in as much as this is the final home meeting but frankly after Monday's farce and no apology what so ever in the aftermath of those events i would not blame people for voting with their feet and staying away.

Would anyone revisit the same restaurant and order the same meal just five days after receiving terrible service?

Would the restaurant apologise to someone who was not a paying customer but simply goes on forums encouraging people to buy there food somewhere else, such as.... er.... you for instance?

Based on past performance there is a pretty high chance that something will be mentioned about it in Cook and Vatcher's programme notes but as you won't be there you won't know.

Still you were a paying customer of Sky and no doubt you have written to them demanding an apology for the programme you have actually paid for but didn't enjoy. You have complained to Sky haven't you ? Oh well.........

PK loves it here, he's right back to form, and will replace Ward adequately. When he was here with Swindon, he clocked up 4 heat wins, including an overtaking move as good as you will ever see at lakeside, and scored 16 points, including a winning tr ride. I just hope he stays fit. I think this could be a good close match, for Poole will have revenge on their minds. Swindon need Poole to win, but supporting that lot does not exactly come easy, but, in the bestinterestofswindonspeedway.....Go Poole!

Considering we can have anyone who isn't in the play offs i would say the list is fairly large, if Swindon don't make it we could have Kildermand or Troy, there are certainly plenty of options for the final if we make it.

Fairly Large? Really??

Lets say Poole and Stars (certain) and Cov and Swindon make it.

That counts out Bjerre, Andersen, Batch, Kildemand.

Remainder - Zagar, Bjarne, Woodward, Nicholls, Cook, Michelsen, King, Watt, Bridger, Buczkowski, Korneliussen, Woffy, PK.

Thats 13 riders of which you would say 3 (4 if you include Bjarne) as anywhere near the standard you need.

I grant you if the Eagles make it at the Robins expense then Batch or Kildemand would probably be the better choice.

So of those are you happy for ALL of them to ride at number one?

You really are a sad man Brum. You would do anything to see we don't win the league.. If we do, i'll supply you with some rope..

Lets hope we get first choice then!!

Funny enough I do agree with Steve here. Zagar probably wont accept a guest booking the EL, Tai is injured and then Tai will have to make up some ground in the GP's so I doubt that Tai would accept a guest booking. Therefore none of them riders on the list are at Darcy's level.

Lynn will also be in the same position as Poole.

There is only Iversen, Zagar and Tai who are at Darcy's level. Tai was superb when he guested for us at Kings Lynn, as bad as he has been in the league in some matches he would be my first choice.
