Ashamed Steve to be honest, i knew you had two of your stars out not your clubs fault but this line up is unexceptable embarrassing to be honest if this goes ahead it is worst than at Lakeside on Monday surely they will be lucky to get 800 punters in.?

No one more ashamed of this team than me.

Not the fans fault Steve even as a home supporter i would see no delight in winning this home meeting such a shame a great sport going down the pan.

Wolverhampton's fault. Wolves could have got a better guest for Tai and they didn't also when they sacked Pawlicki they knew what was going to happen.

Having said that I do have sympathy for the fans because it is not fair on the paying public.

The paying public who are they? Edited by sidney

The reason i didn't go on Monday was due to this attempt to offer us an inferior product at the same cost.

I feel for Swindon because this line up isnt going to tempt people out to watch.

But saying that this is a meeting for Swindon to keep alive their play off hopes so i am sure there is a spin to it.

Not one that i will be buying however.

I missed the A fixture as I was recovering from ill health, and as I always like to visit each track at least once a year I shall be there with Lefty - in all truth I would have probably been there anyway :D

It is such a let down after such a great performance at Poole on Wednesday.

Hopefully this is another wake up call for the promotors and shows them that we need to form a British league from riders who can commit to all meetings over here.

8. 23 Peter Kildemand

7.37 Troy Batchelor

6.19 Simon Gustafsson

5.71 Dakota North

5.55 Nick Morris

33.05

add to that one of the highest scoring draft riders in 2014 and you can see why they are pushing for a play off slot in September

6.55 Cameron Woodward

5.90 Timo Lahti

5.10 R/R ....... giving each one ride

4.69 Michael Palm Toft

3.27 Justin Sedgman

25.51

Woodward and Lahti will most likely be given 6 rides each and if they can get over 20 between them they have done well. After that cant see the rest getting over 10 between them and expect Swindon to hit at least 60 here and just hope Wolves Guests can reach 30

Was going to attend but not with that team and will be interesting to see if they charge full price on the gate as I would think there will be a considerable amount not turning up for this one unless they enjoy seeing a cat play with a mouse before the kill ........ (which should be around heat 10)

An inferior product that was the best meeting of the season...

Not exactly sure what you expected on Monday night to be honest. Woffinden, a 7.5 pt rider was injured and was replaced with an equivalent rider in Schlein. Pawlicki was sacked.

I have made my point clear, £17 is too expensive for PL standard Speedway.

The best meeting of the season was the Cov match in July.

So the racing and entertainment is irrelevant to you, just the names involved?

The Wolves V Leicester meeting was more entertaining than pretty much any other meeting this season, but its not worth £17 you are saying?

So you'd prefer to pay £17 and be less entertained.

I understand. :)

Nit picking as usual.

I don't ask for your understanding of my opinion, i have made it clear.

Anyone can be entertained watching a meeting streamed for free at home, ;)

Forget it with that line up i won't be going, no way are these people on a suicide mission? I have missed very few i could count on one hand the amount of meetings in the last 25 years i have missed i i wont be going unless there is a change or two.

Why would the crowd be down ...Falace has told us time and time again that speedway fans don't care who are in the teams . Remember top names don't bring in crowds

The reality is, that watching a meeting streamed from home is FAR less entertaining than being there in person. So for a meeting streamed to be entertaining, it must have been a very good meeting. Which it was.

No worries, you've made your position clear. You pay for names rather than racing.

I'm not saying that's wrong either, far from it as there are many others who would and did do the same.

Absolutely- i pay for names at Wolves. Not ashamed of it. And at Wolves i get BOTH names AND racing.

Still doesn't stop me travelling to watch PL and NL/Amateur - at a cheaper price naturally. Free in the case of Amateur. :t:

Do not forget to get there early tonight to avoid the queues for this meeting.

With riders from Eastbourne, BV, Edinburgh, Cradley and Wolves in addition to the normal Swindon riders, fans are expected from all these clubs.

Fans names will be taken at the gate so that they can be introduced to the riders.
