van wolfswinkel
Its a very tough meeting for us against one of the better EL line ups ive seen this season. Just hope the boys display some team spirit when the going gets tough in front of the 5,000 plus crowd. If we manage to get the 3 points I hope the riders interact with the fans at the end. If any of them dont I hope they are sacked and replaced with riders who care and will reply to obsessive fans tweets. Sad thing is there were 5000 there for the 2009 Final...no way that size crowd will ever be seen again at The Shabbey. Wolfsbane
Stop moaning, should be a cracking meeting. Wolves on paper have a cracking team of battlers which will stir memories of yesteryear teams of the late 80's, early 90's where the riders were passionate to ride for the club. There's no doubt that the riders featuring for Wolves will be desperate to impress in the hope of gaining a more permanent team place in the seasons to come and I, for one, am despondent I am out of the country and unable to see their efforts. Hopefully it will be broadcast on Bet365 as I suspect it could be a classic. All that will be missing will be the bumper crowd
houdi
My god wolves team is absolutely woeful! Michael Palm Toft (G) Justin Sedgeman (G) Cameron Woodward (G) Timo Lahti (G) R/R Max Clegg (G) Tom Perry So basically the only recognisable Wolves rider is R/R. frigbo
Got to giggle at everyone unravelling about Wolves' team. Leicester rode at Swindon in the 'good old days of 1976' with SIX guests and Doug Underwood! It's nothing new. Speedway was still ridiculous when it was good!!
Steve0
Has there ever been an official fixture at the Abbey before where the oppo have pitched up with 5 guests and R/R in their line-up?! Well we had 6 guests and Glenn Cunningham for a match at Blunsdon when we were in the PL!
BWitcher
What the hell do KL & Cov think they're playing at tomorrow. Nicking our guests, thoughtless buggers pffft Agreed. Harris and Schlein are Wolves riders this week and should be made to ride in all our fixtures. Should they be available for future Kings Lynn/Coventry fixtures then they are free to ride.
dump that clutch
we will see a couple of close races, a few winning by a straight, and maybe a couple of engine failures and falls..... just like any other match to be fair.. Red Robin
I hadn't seen the "line-up" when I posted earlier. What an absolutely disgraceful team we are sending tomorrow. Surely the club have to release a statement to clarify the situation (are we riding their due to pressure from Swindon wanting to get the fixture in before the cut-off, did we agree to the date before it became obvious half of the riders wouldn't be anywhere near Swindon?). To just say nothing has been their mantra at times in the past, but this time they can't hide under the desk. Wolves should have been at the Abbey last thursday, but Rosco let them swap with Lakeside because it would give an extra week to sort out their rider problems. Obviously only got worse for Wolves, but not Swindon's fault.
arnieg
I can only assume that this meeting is rearranged and Wolves didn't agree with it but have been forced so have sent the most piss taking team possible. That team would lose to every PL team.Think that they might be well matched for Glasgow and Rye House! Have to say I'm beginning to think that the sensible thing to do might be to abandon this year's Elite League. After all the play-offs will largely be determined by who makes the most astute choice of guest - not who has the best team.

mcnabadam
What an absolute farce. If the Swedish League takes precedence over the Elite League and the Premier League does as well, than what is "Elite" about it. Team speedway is virtually dead, should just have individual championships. Can't relate to teams that are just random collections of indivduals. Riders don't care about what team they ride for, just how they can make as much money as possible. I feel sad as I used to love team speedway. Still at least I'll save £21 + tomorrow night. SCB
Just how do Wolves get a facility for PK and Thorsell who are riding in Sweden but Coventry had to replace MJJ? #IfYourFaceFit
A ORLOV
Good scores by robins riders tonight on the eve of this tough match. Killer 1,3,3,3,3,2 in Denmark Steve Worrall 14+1 for Cradley Nathan 11+2 for Cradley

Michael Palm Toft (G) Justin Sedgeman (G) Cameron Woodward (G) Timo Lahti (G) R/R Max Clegg (G) Tom Perry Totally embarrassed to be a Wolves fan right now (particularly Thursday) Embarrassed to be a Wolves fan with that line up. This must be a new low that will never be beaten! Is that team for real or is somebody having a laugh ? I had to check myself as i thought someone was taking the pee. No word on our website, what a surprise. Perhaps they have given up like the fans. How can they have r/r for Pawlicki if they sacked him? Cheating Wolves. Do you want the points to keep alive your challenge for the play offs or would you rather whine about how much stronger we are with this line up? thank god for the P.L. and the N.L. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Just how do Wolves get a facility for PK and Thorsell who are riding in Sweden but Coventry had to replace MJJ? #IfYourFaceFit In fairness aren't they just using sub standard PL riders in place? Ashamed Steve to be honest, i knew you had two of your stars out not your clubs fault but this line up is unexceptable embarrassing to be honest if this goes ahead it is worst than at Lakeside on Monday surely they will be lucky to get 800 punters in.?
