TheReturn
I say it's a shame purely because the series would be better with him in it - plus Phil R hinted that he might be warming to the idea of riding in the series again.. I agree, and you can hardly blame him if he had financial problems. The series would be a better place with Emil and I hate to say it Ward (skill wise, not person wise). Hopefully both will be in for the 2016 series.
f-s-p
Really surprised MJJ is in, though pleased even more. I have no problem with the other picks. Kind of agree that MJJ vs. PK could have been either way. Best part is, that no dirty play (so far) to get Ward back in.

josietoms
ONCE the 15 permanent riders have been officially named (probably later today) any subsequent replacements will be chosen by the FIM SGP Commission in association with BSI and not promoted from the 2014 Challenge. There be hoping someone pulls out so then they can ask darcy back.

Robbie B
Just announced on the SGP website Troy Batchelor, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Michael Jepsen Jensen and Thomas H Jonasson Edited October 14, 2014 by Robbie B
josietoms
How can they do that, they haven't yet decided on the length of his suspension? We're just have to sit back and watch. If I was a betting person I'd like to bet on that darcy will play some part in the sgp in 2015
foamfence
OR if he is going to get one Quite Phil. Meanwhile he's suspended pending possible suspension. We're just have to sit back and watch. If I was a betting person I'd like to bet on that darcy will play some part in the sgp in 2015 He might get the wild card in Aussie. salty
Is it cynical to suggest that the rule change recently announced regarding replacement riders has been done with Ward in mind? Any rider who pulls out or is injured throughout the season can now be replaced by anyone of BSI's choosing (possibly Ward dependent on FIM ruling)rather than the next rider off the GP challenge rank (Shamek). salty
SYSTEM changed before Daugavpils so nothing to do with Ward I thought that was just a reaction to the number of riders missing through injury, suspensions etc? Didn't realise at that point it was a permanent change. Why did Pawlicki, Covatti, THJ draw lots after Lonigo? No need for a finishing order - unless Harris and Doyle were to turn down their places. New Science
And is Swedish Champion as well............. RP If a 2nd Swede was not required THJ would not be on the lips of any speedway fan as a wildcard.

Mark
2nd Swede is a waste of time. Lindgren couldn't get a top 8 spot even with half the riders having some form of bad injury and THJ isn't good enough. Quota's are plain wrong. Lets have top 15 most competitive riders and 1 wild card. THJ will do some wild riding and crash a lot but that about it. He'll be lucky to get 13th spot in finishing order.. waiheke1
You're never going to get the top 15 in the series unless they are all handpicked or based on a ranking system. And tbh I think limited quota system is ok. But next years line up is a little disappointing when in sn ideal scenatio you woukd have something like: Greg, tai, kk, hampel, pawlicki, emil, laguta, zagar, vaculik, nki, nicki, kildermand, aj, ward, holder. Which is a lot stronger than the actual line up.

That line up looks on the money, MJJ and Jonasson have not done anough in my book to warrant a chance Batchelor has done really well but was also very fortunate to get a pick. Bagpuss
There's not a lot more MJJ could have done each time he has appeared in a GP.
Pinny
Mjj more than deserving of a place imo Always impresses as a wild card
