dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
They kept making an issue of the side leading calling it off - surely its the side who are behind that have to agree to call it off???
marko
Its another part of speedway open to manipulation and it simply must stop. You run 15 heats or the the event has to be re staged no exceptions. I still cant understand the decision to call it off, 20 past nine there was loads of time left to do additional ground works run the last few heats in better safer conditions and still be done by half ten, its never worried the promotion before when its an 8pm start. As for Davey Watt, we all know he is nothing more than little girl, who throws his toys out as soon as he don't get his way.
TheReturn
Is Pearson right, the team winning can call a meeting off? I always assumed the track officials were the ones to call a meeting off, rather than any one team? They kept making an issue of the side leading calling it off - surely its the side who are behind that have to agree to call it off??? I know, I am amazed if that is the new speedway ruling. Fromafar
He was moaning like hell!He said he would accept the decision ,he wasn't happy be he did say at heat 7 he would do 15 hts if they had to at the restart.the meeting should have ran to finish IMO.even although the track wasn't great it was no worse that ht7. marko
The few that turned up tonight have been well and truly shafted, i hope they and others will take that on board and stay away on Friday as a protest. Watch it on bet365 instead!
Vincent Vega
Glad I didnt go tonight I wont bother Friday either the same team twice in the same week another joke. Looking forward to seeing Poole getting stuffed in the playoffs with their cheating promoter MF (Compton situation) and hypocrite team manager NM (Belle Vue last season)

salty
Is Pearson right, the team winning can call a meeting off? I always assumed the track officials were the ones to call a meeting off, rather than any one team? I know, I am amazed if that is the new speedway ruling. My understanding for a Sky meeting is that the sole decision lies with the Meeting Steward (not even the ref) who tonight was Mick Bates. Nothing to do with home teams or teams in the lead, though obviously the steward can take their views into account. Another unedifying spectacle tonight. Daniel Smith
Terrific win for Lakeside. Absolutely the right call to call it off when 9 points in front (snigers very loudly) Edited September 1, 2014 by screamer

Looking forward to seeing Poole getting stuffed in the playoffs with their cheating promoter MF (Compton situation) and hypocrite team manager NM (Belle Vue last season)Are you for real? It was quite clearly Lakeside who were on the fiddle here. How then they call it off like that just because they have 3 points? No wonder Lakeside get crowds of about 200 if this is how they treat them. I don't often get wound up by the sheer idiocy of how speedway is run but this was outrageous. The sport was brought into disrepute and nothing will be done about it. Edited September 1, 2014 by grachan
nelliejim
this forum would be in meltdown if Poole were winning at heat 6 but wanted to carry on to get 4 points by heat 10 british speedway is on its arse

ovalfan
Should have to get to at least 12 or 13 heats to call it off. If that were the case would they even have tried to continue? A line appeared and with more trackwork should have gone to heat 15. And they wonder why people dont go if weather looks iffy. Watching middlo was funny. Was so angry looking. Only wants to get to a result when winning. Nothing to do with safety.

Star Lady
What goes around comes around. Poole set the bench Mark 12 months ago and it's in the best interests of the sport. No idea which sport but hey Middlo baiting has a nice ring to it tonight
