RPNY
If Bomber is a charity case so is Freddie. Equally as inept/close to qualifying (depending on your criteria) We'll agree to disagree, Freddie is generally in the mix, Bomber is way off the pace. Not a dig, I am a fan of his but unfortunately he's no longer able to compete.

Both 8-10th rider who made it one season and often got close in the qualifiers.
PHILIPRISING
Not sure what Freddie brings to the series right now on or off the track. Seems a very different person now than he was a couple of years ago. Series needs new faces but recent injuries could contrive to see Freddie get in again. smiles
The thing with Lindgren is that no hes not a top 8 rider anymore but he is a top 15 rider, Where do you put riders like that in the GP or a rider who can get semi finals one week and nothing the Grand prix after it happens to the best of them (Hampel a example). It just a shame it is a closed shop, shoule the challenge be there for the bottom 7 but then somebody will always qualify on there day and do nothing the year after. We do have the riders there old and new but not enough spacers for them. Of the qualifyers too many riders from countries given a place when they should be all put in one round where the top 3 or 4 get through with all the bigger boys, give them places on how the country does in the World team cup
theflyingkiwi
Hampel has proved though that he is a World Class rider apart from the poor season that he is currently having and the season that he was seriously injured he has finished on the rostrum three times since 2010. Lindgren has qualified once on merit in the top 8 and once through the challenge. Everyone is so quick to go on about the amount of wildcards Harris has received off BSI yet seem to forget Lindgren has received the same amount. Fromafar
Might sound daft but perhaps the bottom 4 in any GP should miss the next round and 4new riders from order in GP challenge get in if they stay out the bottom 4 they stay in and same again happens.that way you might get more consistent riders in the bottom end of the GP and a fight to stay in the competition. The 4 that drop out should always be the ones back in the next GP .Lets face if your in the bottom 4 more than once your not likely to effect your chances of being the Champ.(just a suggestion to freshen the gps up)It gives an outsider the chance to prove he is good enough to stay in if he gets the chance. Â Couldn't see that working, if a rider crashed out injured who was in the running for the World Championship it would end all chances. Then we could have a situation where riders were riding injured and being a danger to others.

SOMETHING similar (it was bottom two) was used when the GP first started in 1995 but it was subsequently felt that riders should be able to plan for a full season and base their sponsorship and TV exposure on that as well

Your rules have just killed off Woffys title. Didnt finish top 12 in the last GP so now he misses the next GP too. Far to draconian IMO

SCB
He never rode in it. Exactly. So he'd miss the next GP as he didnt make the top 12 cut off.
Fromafar
Only an idea, but obviously if he was miss because of injury, you would put him back in the 1st one he was fit.we need to create a better way way of seeing young talent showing if they are up to the challenge.Although think speedway has got bigger issues to deal with first than my daft ideas
