Mark
Frightening that Freddie might make the top 8 due to the injuries suffered to many top riders and Darcys ban. He offers very little to the GP series. He has had an injury free season but is still lanquishing behind others who've had a big crash like Holder. 18 points behind NKI means he and Batchelor could over take NKI if his knee injury ends the season. No way do they deserve a place as so many riders are better than that pair. Bjerre and Smolinski also. Wild cards could be hot property.

The losers will be the youngsters with Darcy,NKI,1 random Swede (Unless 1 qualifies from GP challenge) and AN other, may be no room for MJJ,Bech,Zmarzlik,Dudek or Pawlicki's. Shame !
theflyingkiwi
I feel Batchelor may having something to add to the series. Just have to look at his form at Copenhagen was by far the best rider that night. Lindgren on the other hand has had 5 wildcard picks for the GP series and only qualified twice through merit, one top 8 and a place through the GP challenge. I do think that a Swede has to be in the GP series though.
smiles
Hopefully Tomas H jonasson will qualifyer from the challenge, he is up and down with his scores but would bring more to the GP than lindgren and sorry to say AJ who is past his best now. Marcelle
As long as Harris is no where near the gp!
TheReturn
As long as Harris is no where near the gp! I have long defended him and his GP performances, until this season. It is now clear that for whatever reason he simply can not compete at the top table on a regular basis anymore. I would not be opposed to him proving us wrong as a wildcard at Cardiff, but his performances this season have not been enough to even suggest he should be considered for anytime soon. Down to him to prove us wrong and qualify on merit now.

superguest
Freddie needs a season out the grand prix & to sort out his gating/ control in thr first bend, just not precise enough!

OveFundinFan
Thought I read batch used the same bike at Cardiff, that was the week after Copenhagen, but he didnt show the same pace.
theflyingkiwi
What I meant with my previous post was that I would rather see Batchelor over someone who has been handed 5 wildcard picks.
SCB
If I'm honest, never thought I'd say this but I'm quite enjoying Batch in the GPs. Bit rough and ready but always in the mix. It seemed to take him a few GPs to"get it".
severnsider
At the start of the season Batch was easily bullied in GPs but seems to be better now. He has got to 4 semis & one final so reasonable effort at short notice
OveFundinFan
and Batch's short notice meant he could scarcely get sponsorship together to launch a full attack on the gp season. I think he has show enough this year to warrant a wild card 2015

I think he has show enough this year to warrant a wild card 2015Batch will not get a wildcard unless he qualifies in the top 8.Won't be 2 Aussies given wildcards,if Darcy is eligible he will definitely get the nod. RPNY
I think Freddie is worth a GP spot. Even when he's in on a wildcard he's generally finished just outside the top 8. He's certainly not a Bomber/Scotty charity case. Batch has been good value this year. Certainly no Emil but by no means a disgrace.

Equally as inept/close to qualifying (depending on your criteria)
P T Preece
Jonsson, Lindgren and Smolinski havent done a lot for me this season, feel the two swedes have had enough chances to be at the top and never got there and the German just isnt good enough. Batchelor, MJJ and one of the upcoming poles to get a wildcard call oter than that its been quite an entertaining season.
