Paulco
I agree, it is completely unacceptable, so the match should be called off. It should be , if only to save the loyal supporters from being put in the position of - do i not go because of half our team being missing and damaging our club financially , or do i go and watch a sub standard product and give promoters and riders carte blanche to continue with running our sport in this fashion

I don't think they'd fancy another trip up if tomorrow's meeting was off. They've already been up for a rain off

During the winter these issues will have to be addressed or the dwindling band of speedway supporters will dwindle even more .
Lioness
Have a real quandary now. World Paint Drying Championships are taking place on Sunday in John O'Groats. Only 6 hours drive. What to do? Speedway or Paint Drying? Paint Drying or Speedway? Oh! What to do? Oh What to do? See you on the A9
Ben91
What a farce. Feel for the Glasgow fans, they had to put up with watching us in the first place and now both teams are decimated. From a Rye perspective, why are we 1) letting our asset Luke Chessell race against us and 2) why are we using Benji Compton as a guest for Luke Bowen at number 2? Get a proper guest in we have a chance of getting an away win, there has to be better options available to us. If we don't win tomorrow we might as well pack up for the year. Lord Skid
Rye House are at Workington tonight. I don't think they'd fancy another trip up if tomorrow's meeting was off. They've already been up for a rain off They've still got a one off trip to Redcar, whoever organised so many one off trips to the North wants their brains testing, but hey, if you call Meetings off because it might rain or a football match is on, or speedway is on tv, then nothing really surprises you any more.Last one out please turn the lights out.!! All we really have in opposition is Pijper and Harrison . So you'll never have a better chance of an away league win than this .
SCB
Thats the strongest Glasgow have looked for weeks. Phillips for Palovara means they might now have someone at number 1 capable of a point in heat
Lioness
Ironic that it should be fellow strugglers Rye House who can benefit. really they should have no problem as even when on form Theo and Rusty can only take a maximum of 5 rides, Kennett Boxall Garrity and even Greenwood (although he did not score well that day he was up against Thomsen and Lykke) have all looked comfortable round Ashfield. not Rye House's fault and I am sure they will be keen to take full advantage.I have said in the past I missed seeing CL (as it was then) racing north of the border but I didnt expect to see it this way

So that's 35 points , only another 11 to find
Lioness
I was under the impression that neither Theo or Rusty could take a ride for Wolbert cos of the new averages - whoops. Can't see it making much difference though. If only I wasnt so damn stiff and sore after 3 games in 2 days I'd be sorely tempted to go curling tomorrow again instead

MD
Glasgow are now offering a free programme to season ticket holders or a £2 off voucher for next Sunday if you attend. The promotion have smartly recognised a wholesale no show from the home fans and whilst acknowledging the situation is beyond their control have offered an olive branch, albeit small. Joseq7
Where specifically are all of our missing riders? I know Dimitri is injured but what is the excuse for the others?

Paulco
Where specifically are all of our missing riders? I know Dimitri is injured but what is the excuse for the others? Wolbert is riding in the German Championship and Palovaara and Lykke are riding in the World under 21's . For some bizarre reason the under 21's are not viewed by the BSPA as an official meeting , hence we have a couple of wobblers at 1 and 6 . It's the European under 21s Paul which is a competition not recognised by the BSPA. . That's why we were using Sarjeant last night in place of David.
