Berwick V Redcar 30/08.2014 @ 7pm

Pass that news on to Kennett for his next visit.

I'll wait until Kus has a season at number 1 in a struggling side and attains a +8 point average

Whether you are in a struggling team or not has nothing to do with individual scores. Riding for a poor team hasn't affected Simon Stead's form for Sheffield this season.

Makes no odds really. The point is still valid

Excellent performance from Matej tonight. A seven ride maximum, full or paid, is a special achievement.

Struggled a little bit at the start of the season, but has ridden brilliantly since dropping down to reserve.

Does anybody know who he belongs to?

Redcar?Or maybe he owns his own contract Edited by Fromafar

Home win matej kus maximum

Proof, if ever it were needed that this poster is the oracle, the standard bearer, to which we all have to look up to. :D

How did stormy get on?

Always difficult to judge when a rider is out on their own, Berwick must ensure Wethers is completely fit to return, going to reserve as he now does for September there will every chance he will have extra rides to take and he will have a big roll to play come play-off time, we have seen the benefit of having a big scoring reserve with first Jensen and then Kus.

He was rubbish round Berwick which you said is all about making starts, actually he rode like a novice, yet was nigh on unbeatable at the concrete overtaing nirvana.

Skirting over the point about being at number one for a season, which is the point in question.

Some riders are suited to certain tracks. Even Andrew Silver scored a maximum at Rye in his early 40's.

I take it you weren't at Rye last week, at least a dozen passes, not bad for concrete

Hello Shadders. Deep down I think really you like Berwick. From what I have heard you always get looked after up there on your trips? In the end the important thing is that both Berwick and Rye House, agreed totally different circuits, survive and flourish. Goodness knows speedway is in a bad enough condition without tracks and fans falling out on who is the best.

I get along with most Bandits fans, I think I've been adopted. Been on a couple of tours which are always memorable. Probably seen them away around 8 times this year, with another 3 to come, more than most. Of course I'm only there to accompany the missus you understand.

The only downside is that I very rarely see a decent meeting at Shielfield. Maybe I've just been unlucky?

Decent meeting last night, Redcar looked capable of getting a point right up to Ht15. Well lead by Summers, and backed up by Skidmore, sadly for the Bears they were much of a muchness after that. For Berwick Matej Kus was quite superb, gamble of a signing at the start of the season my eye, IMO he would be the first rider signed up for 2015. All the other riders contributed well to another 3pt home win and the push for the play-offs continues.
