SCB
The meeting in Poland on Sunday is a FIM meeting http://www.workingtoncomets.co/news/article.asp?id=100356 The REAL story folks So why is Milik riding in the European U21 Championship on Sunday? He's not injured contrary to "the word" on the Workington site. Anyway, it seems Matt Ford/Poole are the ones in the wrong, they're the ones calling it the European Championship. More fool me for trusting anything that comes out of the guys mouth!

shady
The rule changed three years ago Jenga so all is in order So why is Milik riding in the European U21 Championship on Sunday? He's not injured contrary to "the word" on the Workington site. Anyway, it seems Matt Ford/Poole are the ones in the wrong, they're the ones calling it the European Championship. More fool me for trusting anything that comes out of the guys mouth! Quite correct you are SCB, hands up I got it wrong. He isn't injured. Please note - when I'm wrong I say I'm wrong! IronScorpion
Benji guesting on Sat & Tom Perry Sun & the rest of the season. Matt tried to ride thro the pain of his accident Tuesday for the Scorpions Wednesday & Thursday but struggled to hold onto the bike. He will still ride in the NL though. There will also be an ice bucket challenge during the afternoon so expect some hilarity. I am not, at this point, divulging who will be targeted. So, turn up and see! here is an example & very popular https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wPUvs66l2E&index=3&list=PL-DfNcB3lim97Wo9NQsItnYPs3l3-nv4G
jenga
will the ice bucket turn up and if it turns up can you give ALL the workington riders a shot at it BEFORE the meeting starts, so they can waken up and try and put in a proper performance for any travelling worky fans.... this worky team is one of the worst for years. so, comgrats on scunny on getting 55 plus points against a team of so called super stars. IronScorpion
I thought it strange Lawson was allowed to guest as I thought it was 180 hrs before & after an arranged meeting. Perhaps it has changed but I know someone will put me right! Wish he was involved in the ice bucket challenge!!!!!!!!
jenga
the rule was dropped 3 years ago, according to laura morgan. worky pro mo/

Red Panda
I don't know where any of you are getting the idea Milik is injured from...........he is not........... The idea of Sunday's meeting was for the previous years Elite League champions to compete against each other Poole line up is Josh G, Janowski, Piotr Pawlicki, Leon Madsen (Poole Asset) and Emil Sayfutdinov.......... topaz325
Cannot see Workington gatting any points today, surely Birks and Klindt will score more than the two points from last night at Worky, only hope is that Jacobs and Lambo score a bagful of points but Scorpions have Howe at reserve too. Lord Lucan
Looking for a similar type performance as last night from the Comets in this, gonna be a tough one tho as I expect Klindt will be far better than he showed at DP, still expect Lawson/Howarth/Wells wil be a match for him but it will be the efforts from R/R that will decide whether we get any points? On a good day I'm hopeful of a point, if it's not to be then about a similar score to last night in favour of Scunny!!
Lord Lucan
As I suspected, just 4pts from R/R was never going to be enough to topple Scunny, couple that with 17pts from David Howe versus five from the Comets pair and the result is never really in doubt? Good efforts from Lawson/Wells not too bad from Kyle/Mason but not good enough on the day really, Scunny the more solid overall just had, what looks like, a bit too much for us in vital areas still, never mind, it hasn't been that bad a weekend just gotta keep trying!! Well done to Scunny, good 3pts for you there!!

Albert
A great meeting so credit due to both sets of riders. Some outstanding races today, notably Ryan Douglas's ht7 pass on Wells/Campton and David Howe's heroics in ht15 will live long in the memory. Lawson, Wells and Howarth impressed most for Workington whilst Scunny could point to superb efforts and return to form of both Ash Birks and David Howe. David Howe and heat 15....wow.
