Tigerish
Who will be in the patched up Tigers team this week?
EIS002
Hopefully Lee Lanham who I believe is desperate to get back riding after allot of Physio on his back.
Baldyman
Don't think it's gonna matter, massive home win, 62-
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Cant see it being that bad Baldy - or are you trying that reverse psycology stuff? If we want to show we are true contenders then we should be winning this type of fixture. Expect a 10 point defeat.
Baldyman
So you're saying saying we are not true contenders? Because you haven't gone for the win I am expecting us to be that bad, so maybe I shall improve my prediction to 58-
Tigerish
Andre's absence is looking more and more permanent to me. After we were told that he escaped without serious injury maybe the mental scars are taking a lot longer to heal than anyone envisaged. Good luck to him whatever the future holds. TheScotsman
Should be 3 points for Ippo.
Blackadder
SHEFFIELD: Simon Stead, Rider Replacement for Andre Compton, Leigh Lanham, Ben Wilson, Nico Covatti, Josh Bates, Taylor Poole IPSWICH: Richie Worrall, Ritchie Hawkins, Morten Risager, Gino Manzares, Rohan Tungate, Cameron Heeps, TBC
TheScotsman
Looking at that Sheffield team, 4 points for Ippo looks more likely.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
So you're saying saying we are not true contenders? Because you haven't gone for the win I am expecting us to be that bad, so maybe I shall improve my prediction to 58-32 I dont expect us to get past the play off group stage as we havent shown any likelyhood of winning away at the top clubs. Cant see past a Somerset/Edinburgh final. Would love to be wrong though! SHEFFIELD: Simon Stead, Rider Replacement for Andre Compton, Leigh Lanham, Ben Wilson, Nico Covatti, Josh Bates, Taylor Poole IPSWICH: Richie Worrall, Ritchie Hawkins, Morten Risager, Gino Manzares, Rohan Tungate, Cameron Heeps, TBC TBC at 7? Adam not named in the Lakeside line up so presuming he is still feeling the effects of last weeks crash (or have I missed something?) Baldyman
Mmmmmmm, now Andre won't be there with think I need to adjust my prediction again to 52-38. As for the Scotsman, you have clearly never watched Ipswich on fence scraping tracks like this. Mr fuel taps, depending on who pics us it could be possible, we could possibly beat Berwick on aggregate and maybe even Somerset, as they can be even worse on our track. EIS002
What ever the Sheffield team is this week I would still go for a win against ippo at home. Will be interesting to see who is ippo's #7 and also how manzares goes around a BIG well prepared track ;-) looking forward to it.
BILKO
Speedway Star keep saying riders are out for 28 days after a head injury. I think this is true of most sports.

Think you maybe right there he has nothing to prove and it was a very nasty crash, pity because he was riding almost a well as at his peak when it happened . You are probably right Mr Baldyman I haven't had that pleasure!. However - a) this Sheffield team is pants Ippo are riding well c) Tungate & Heeps were surely brought up on big tracks d) Risager knocked up 3 race wins at Peterborough earlier in the season so can turn the throttle full on e) Worrall has been known to hit double figures at Peterborough and Berwick this year f) you got a point at a strong Peterborough in June So all in all - 4 points coming up!! Baldyman
Ha ha ha like your optimism, but I think I shall stick with my last prediction. Tungate would have been brought up on bigger tracks i guess, but everytime I see him on one, I don't think I've ever seen him ride the best and fastest line, probably not strong enough to hold on. Know quite a bit about Sheffield. Tungate record around Sheffield; 2013 4 paid 6 from 4 rides, 2012 1 paid 2 from 3 rides Heeps ; record around Sheffield; 2013 3 from 4 rides, 2012 1 from 3 rides, Risager record around Sheffield; 2013 6 from 4 rides, 4 paid 5 from 4 rides, 2011 5 paid 7 from 4 rides, and 4 from 4 rides. Never seen anything from either of them to suggest that they will be prolific around Sheffield, unless you know something that I don't. . CardinalSin
More than likely not Manzares' cup of tea either! Don't expect a point here, but not expecting a real thumping either.
Baldyman
We are as bad here as we are at Somerset, but we should do better here because the Sheffield team isn't anywhere near as good as Somerset. And on Saturday we get to give Sheffield a good beating at foxhall
