PETERBOROUGH co-promoter Trevor Swales is delighted with the condition of the East of England Showground track ahead of a crucial Premier League double-header tonight (Tuesday).

The 'TC Harrison' Panthers take on Berwick Bandits and Plymouth Devils on a bumper night of racing.

Swales said: "The track is looking very good considering the torrential rain which fell throughout Monday.

"The forecast for the rest of the day is overcast with sunny intervals, but crucially no rain.

"There is also a bit of wind which is helping with drying out the track and it is all systems go for a big night of speedway."

The opening meeting against Berwick still start at 7pm promptly and all supporters are advised to arrive early. The parade takes place at 6.50pm.

Pat Seems very hopeful! :t:

I agree great value. I wish I was going!

You won't be so pleased when you here Kenny and his megaphone, not that he needs one. :drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink: washed down with Ronnies Pocheen

no problem for me mate, I sat amongst you lot on Sunday. Next time can you turn the microphone up a bit, I don't think uncle Len heard you!

Also a guest for Dryml,(Justin Sedgeman)

He only scored 5+2 though. Would Dryml have scored less than that? I think he might have ended up with a similar score, so nothing was gained there I don't think.

lets hope the chips are better than they were the other Sunday... Awful!

Awful? Really? I didn't have the fish and chips on Sunday as I ate out later in the evening, but normally the fish and chips at Peterborough are 1st class!

And they contain fish (I believe!!).

Let's pray the electrics can hold out for 2 meetings.

Brilliant stuff Panthers!

So determined!

So many points from the back.

Bandits vulnerable even on a big track.

Great racing.

Well done the underdogs!

Jensen & Edberg were pants!

Jensen even outmuscled by Mighty Max Dilger! He seems so puny & lightweight.

15 heats in 75 minutes.

That's the way to run the sport.

Poor result for Berwick falling away in the final third of the meeting again Vissings form away from Berwick is very poor think the last time he was in heat 15 was against Ipswich and gave up.

Yes same at Berwick Saturday v Rockets I think. Pretty poor from Berwick late on after leading by 4 at Heat 9

Panthers can thank the Rockets for knocking the stuffing out of the Bandits on Sunday. They look a beaten side and will capitulate in the playoffs.

No fish or chips at the EOS tonight, but they did have £4 burgers & £3.50 sausage baguettes. £3.50 for a toasted cheese sandwich must be one of the biggest rip offs in British Speedway. Edited by Shadders

You obviously haven't seen much of Jensen this season then.

Peterborough underdogs.....same underdogs that were fancied for the league title at the start of the season.

And now struggling to make the play offs.
