kenny bee firefly
If it is people like Gemini or Speedibee then they just hate the fact that Lions hate the Bees.......and fair play to them. I hate the fact that Bees hate Lions But there is no hatred to the lions !
weatherwatcher
There is no way on this earth that Kyle Newman, plus a few others should be riding in the position of reseve. They are a class above the other FTR and should have been given a full team place. I just hope that they get things sorted out, if the FTR scheme continues next year and that all the riders riding at reserve palcings are of the same standard. Higher classed riders in group A Lower class riders group B  The higher class riders being ones that are riding in the top flight of the NL teams full stop  the class B being riders of the NL teams  Not riders that have been racing in the PL for a number of years or riders that have been racing in the EL at reserve. It has made the whole FTR scheme a complete un-balanced joke. So when it comes to this years AGM, I hope that the powers that be see sense to do what the scheme was ment to do and that was to help young up and coming riders.
arnieg
did i miss the overtake then? Â you cant count Anderson being flattened as an overtake, i did miss heat 15 so that must be it! By my reckoning 3 @ Brandon and 8 at Beaumont Park

I don't think the problem will arise next year as riders pulled out by the dozens this year but once they had seen it in operation suddenly appeared on there guesting or whatever. I think now it is in operation riders will be more tempted to participate and riders like Clegg and Bates will be the top riders. and the 1 - 10 will have to go to main team places.  If they are and we have them next year will we be moaning. I don't think so. Edited September 1, 2014 by TMW
mdmc82
Shall we discuss Kyle Newman now or leave that for another time? Garrity has been scoring double figures every meeting (scoring 17 recently) He's also above Newman in the draft so yes I agree Newman may have weakened us a little but not much

Champion2010
Ummmm Did you have to go away and think about that one To be honest, Garrity has been unstoppable for bees lately. Even when he got injured and was in agony against swindon, he made coming out and beating their riders look easy. top talent on a bike

You bring Newman into it then act all outraged when someone points out that it hardly mattered. You then bring Doyle into it and act all outraged when someone points out you're being selective. Â The point is both sides used guests. Both teams won all 3 points at home. Both sets of fans were left relatively content. You kicked Coventrys backside, Coventry are heading for the play-offs. We're all happy.

weatherwatcher
Going off the topic, but just noticed that the Poole Pirates, can't use Dary Ward in the world team compatition. As he is susspended. Don't get this at all, if he suspended then how come he has been riding for Poole over here in the EL while being under suspention. Not sure how many meetings he has riden for Poole while under said suspention. If it is the case that he has been riding in the EL when he should have been siting waiting for the result of the outcome in Latvia. Then surely, Poole have been using a team with a rider that should not have been racing. Not that they would do anything against the said Poole Team, but I feel that they hav e beem going to meetings with a rider that should not have riden. Point being, any team that has riden against Poole in this time should be awarded all the points from those meetings that he rode in, Also Poole should be fined and points taken off of them in the league. 10 points sounds about right to me. But they seem to get away with thigs like this year after year and with nothing being done about it. Are his Ward only suspended from meeting that are under FIM ruling. Answers on a postcard, please. Do try to keep up ww!! And try to post on the relevant thread!! Â Darcy's initial fine and ban was from the Latvia GP that he failed the breath test for - that is the maximum the FIM GP jury can dish out. Â His provisional suspension from all competitions was effective from approx. 11.00 am on Thursday 29th August - the EL cut-off date for any new signings. He hasn't ridden anywhere since, and Poole and Piraterna and Torun are using a mix of guests(Poole) and/or squad members(Piraterna/Torun) until the end of the season or until the FIM final decision on punishment - which could still be a 'slap on the wrist'!!
