Wolves V Eastbourne 25/08/14

Recommended Posts

They're expecting a bumper crowd apparently whilst here on planet Earth the rest of us are expecting a win for the Budgies.

What, you really think Eastie are going to end a 30 odd match losing away streak. Dont worry, the points are all yours!

Hope you are right though as I am going and am desperate to see us win away. Would be so nice to go back to the days when the was 4 points ar so between us home and away. I used to love Wolves matches home and away as you could never call it.

".........I've been in contact with several riders who are either booked elsewhere or can't make it - and with Tai's low average we are restricted........." says CVS on the OS.

You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried, you really couldn't! :D

Still no word of the outcome of last week's meeting with Piotr's manager I notice. Still claiming 'illness' even though they must know in their heart of hearts that no one believes a word of it. It would appear I was correct that they would be/are using the 'when in doubt say nothing and hope they'll forget' protocol.

If they're going to do it anywhere, it'll be Monmore.

Really? Wolves looked certain of points away at Eastbourne last night before Tai crashed.

Wolves 2014 are only certain to do one thing, doing the opposite of what looks likely :D

Probably academic anyway looking at the forecast.

The crash on Saturday night completely knocked the stuffing out of the Wolves team together with the crowd near where I was standing.

The delay of an hour while Tai was attended to also completely ruined the atmosphere on what was building up to be a good meeting.

If Eastbourne aren't able to beat Wolves on Monday with R/R and the current run of poor home form then I don't think they will ever win away again.

Much will depend on which Pedersen and Kylmakorpi turn up and if Newman can reproduce his good from from his last visit, but I will be most surprised if Wolves manage to win this one.

The weather aside, I'm in 2 minds about this one. On the one hand I would like to see Eagles break their away duck,as I would like to see them in the play-offs in their final season(?!) but on the other hand I don't want them to get up a head of steam for Wednesday!!!:D

Saw that Steve, tells us nowt unfortunately. Answers needed are along the lines of 'what do you do on Fridays Piotr that has made you ill on Saturdays?' :P

After the club statement it seems that they actually believe the sick note nonsense! :D
