deanr1
So let me get this right. We cancelled a meeting vs Wolves due to a lack of riders, we have been unable to fit that meeting in before the play-off cut off date but we then decided to move a fixture where we had a full team to a date where we would not be able to get a full team due to a lack of riders. Seriously?! Almost laughable isn't it? Except it's not funny, our famous old club with all it's years of history now seeing out it's remaining time being run by absolute clowns. I don't even care about the result, I care about the Bees and tonight's team is not the Bees. I would have been really looking forward to this fixture if it was our full team taking on the league leaders, instead it's turned into a circus. lucifer sam
I hope Lynn don't win the league. Priest wont hardly get a point anyway. Pathetic let Priest ride ffs. It's hardly King's Lynn's fault, is it? All the best Rob

SCB
i dont blame Lynn, they want to finish top of the league after all. This is all the Coventry managements fault.
lucifer sam
Although Coventry were one of Oxford's biggest rivals, I'm now getting quite angry how badly the club is being mis-managed. It's sad to see. Coventry were one of the big names in the sport. Plus I know a lot of their fans, and it's not fair on them. Coventry Speedway has become a joke. And that's sad. Very sad. All the best Rob
deanr1
It's hardly King's Lynn's fault, is it? All the best Rob Not KL's fault at all, Priest is not a fast track rider so why should he be allowed to ride? Fair play to them for protesting, at least their management understands the rules unlike ours, but then ours thought more of their fans would turn out to watch a team full of poor quality guests on a Thursday than their full strength team on a Friday. I'm glad I didn't bother going as I would be asking for money back if I had gone.
screm
I hope Lynn don't win the league. Priest wont hardly get a point anyway. Pathetic let Priest ride ffs. New low with Lynn throwing there toys out of there prams because of a FTR. Had Poole performed the same trick, virtually every poster on here would be crying foul. We all shout about playing by the rules, clearly Priest is not a FT rider, so shouldn't be riding in the meeting. If you are looking for someone to blame try the Coventry management.
Woz01
Rules are rules I'm afraid. What I don't get is why hasn't any other draft rider taken the booking. It's pretty poor if you ask me.
tellboy
Yeah but its not a fair meeting 5 v 7. Its not like Priest is going to have an impact on the meeting anyway. All the best to you as well Gater. At the end of the day the buck stops with Coventry's management team, they should know the rules. It's irrelevant whether Priest would score 0 or 10.It's the rules. King's Lynn are not allowed to sign a rider to cover for Iversen because unfortunately that is a rule to.
deanr1
I just don't like the fact of a 5 v 7 meeting. Yes Priest is not on the list but it's not like Priest would have brought anything to the table anyway. If he beat Tom Stokes 3 times and scored 3 points that's a 6 point swing in Coventry's favour, which could make a big difference.
foreverblue
Poole get alot of flack over rules but coventry didnt know you cant replace a rider who isnt on the list unbelievable!!
tellboy
It's just sad to see British Speedway in this state. Totally agree with you.
SCB
And to make matters worse, Havvy has not put Sarj out in heat 4 against Stokes, which would be a point. In stead he put him in heat 3 vs the two heatleaders?! He should have put the blank in heat 3 as R/R and put Sarj in heat 4. Bloody morons, the lot of them. BANANAMAN
Gater1, on 04 Sept 2014 - 8:05 PM, said: Priest probably wouldn't though in fact Priest could easily go F, F, F tbh Big changes needed in the Winter if there is an EL in 2015. The Coventry management don't even know the rules now. I would like to defend to Luke Priest , scored 15 max last week at Brandon ..so F F F WOULD be a bit far fetched wouldn't it ? Coventry obviously didn't know the rule, but they haven't broken the rule so that is the difference between Coventry and Poole
Robbobee
Sat at home watching the score updates from time to time - still steaming angry ! Why on earth did we move the meeting from Fri to tonight? Is the management that out of touch with its supporters that it thinks they all go to Speedway and Football !!?? Cannot believe this decision - it could cost Bees big time !!!
Daniel Smith
Does look like the Bees ain't gonna just roll over though. Admire the fighting spirit

Jacques
To top it off, the Kings Lynn riders were all booed on parade!! How is it their fault? The buck lies firmly at the feet of Mick Horton nobody else!
