Dave Jones
I'd be interested to know who everybody is? It seems that Mr Rogers and Mr Watson disappear when there are difficult questions to answer................. A prerequisite in order to be "one of the insiders " I'm afraid. Jacques
A prerequisite in order to be "one of the insiders " I'm afraid. Where is the transparency? Where is the honesty? Where is the integrity? Don't worry we stuffed Kings Lynn last night, so let's forget it eh? I'll ask it again, IF, Luke Priests inclusion was ratified by a member of the management committee, then by Phil Morris and the ref, as we've been told. WHY did KL kick up a stink? It matters not about the result, But the question needs answering!

Jacques
I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. I'm not Dave, sorry to those that wish it ... I get fed up with the ' Mick said it, Laurence said it' so it must be true, mentality. In fact some of them believe all the $Hit they hear on the terraces too Edited September 5, 2014 by Jacques
FTM
You're missing the point completely .... The sugar Daddy ( Sky TV) has come, spent , wasted and gone.. Unless the sport, and each club, is run as a viable enterprise then there is no point in continuing.. I see we are left with 2 options. 1, We join our European neighbours and comply with one day a week racing, or 2, We say 'Up yours' and go our own way with our own rules.... We can't have our cake and eat it......... It's one way or the other...... I am in agreement with you on one designated night per week racing but as we are the poor relations of world speedway nowadays having only one night would only work if all other countries accepted the fact that was our particular on night .Unfortunately we don,t get a look in as per other nations as was proved two weeks ago with the farce over MJJ riding for his european promotion on an off night whereby shafting Coventry who needed him at an away meeting on a designated BV race night
em1500uk
Those that follow me on Twitter will have seen most of this post I'm about to copy over on to here, so apologies for those that I'm repeating myself to:It was a disappointing result, granted, but some fans are getting silly now and a bit OTT if you ask me. What will be will be. Yes, we have been top of the table all season and to "throw in the towel" as it were now would be gut wrenching, but some fans expectations are running very high. I've said all along that it ain't over until the fat lady sings and that anything could happen between the season's start and end. Everything that could go wrong is happening at the wrong time. Being top of the table all season, in reality, doesn't count for much while the play offs are still around. The play offs are what count. If we can't "make it count" in the play offs, then so be it. Although we've seen disappointing results of late, we have had a good season. And our season has been far better than some teams! Wolverhampton springs to my mind there. And Belle Vue.Basically, what I'm trying to say is, some of our fans need to calm down and keep faith in what we've got. Calling for team changes right about now I don't think would help our situation (deadline for changes has passed anyway I know!) And calling for some riders blood won't help either. Nick, Robert and "Team Lewis" (when it was still together!) saved our arses early doors! So, actually, I think those 4 have/had done their jobs worth already as we may well have not gotten where we are now without those good performances from the youngsters early doors. Sadly now, some are expecting them to continue this early trend. They're not robots. At present, there are several problems: 1. Lewis Kerr has not been the same rider since his finger injury; 2. Kenneth Bjerre can be inconsistent; 3. Rory Schlein has appeared to be "on a downer" as it were for a while, yet he seems to guest a lot and score OKish for other teams. This in turn probably isn't helping some fans warm toward our captain if I'm being honest. I personally like him, but can understand some other fans frustrations with him. Scoring 2 on one of your old hunting grounds, as a 3rd heatleader, is not good. But, I'm not going to call for his blood. Because guess what? He's no robot either. None of the team are!Our 1-7s best was not good enough for Coventry's 1-5s best. Yes, we lost to a 5 man team but that can happen! I'm not angry. I'm not upset. Just wasted energy. I enjoyed myself regardless of the result and the company I had Friday night was good.
mdmc82
It looks like Swindon and Eastbourne may also end up having to ride with 1 reserve at the moment due to no draft riders being available. (Brendan Johnson has let Swindon down this morning) Lets hope if they have to ask to have a rider added to the draft and get Morris permission, then the opposing team are a better sport than King's Lynn were (although we all know how that ended ) Edited September 6, 2014 by mdmc82
scotland52
Rumour has it that Roy Hodgson has asked for the Euro Qualifier against Switzerland be brought forward 24 hours as it clashes with the televised match between Swindon and the Almighty Bees. As Sturridge is injured he has asked for special dispensation to use Suarez

He was booked yesterday and told them today that he couldn't do it so not few hours noticed. If had other plans then why agree to it in first place? Champion2010
http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2298 To be honest he is one of the last draft riders I would want to use from list. Bad attitude. really held a grudge when Storm let him go cos he was struggling

A rider who was too poor for the NL is needed to ride in the top league!!!
Woz01
How come draft riders are turning down opportunities to ride in the EL? We constantly hear that there are not doing enough meetings yet sides are struggling to name a guest draft rider.
Daniel Smith
How come draft riders are turning down opportunities to ride in the EL? We constantly hear that there are not doing enough meetings yet sides are struggling to name a guest draft rider. There's no value for the lesser draft riders. Won't earn more than the minimum £120 and pretty much only guaranteed 3 rides. Count in possible costs of repairing their equipment, fuel costs etc I should imagine this may be the reason some riders are refusing guest appearances. Next season, for me there should only be 1 draft rider per team if there is an Elite League

Rules are rules, you would have anarchy without them. The fault for Thursday night lies with Horton and/or the MC.
