mdmc82
I hope Lynn don't win the league. Priest wont hardly get a point anyway. Pathetic let Priest ride ffs. Believe me there is no way this King's Lynn team are going to win the league. Against a 5 man Coventry team (without their main reserve) and yet they lost by 14 and had to use a tactical At the end of the day the buck stops with Coventry's management team, they should know the rules. It's irrelevant whether Priest would score 0 or 10.It's the rules. King's Lynn are not allowed to sign a rider to cover for Iversen because unfortunately that is a rule to. why should a team suffer though cos no rider is available? lucky Sarj was good enough for 2 reserves tonight, god help Kings Lynn if garrity had been in
foreverblue
I can see exactly what you are doing, and while you are right that it was a poor choice (don't think any other one would have prevented a 1-5 mind) it shouldn't deflect from the fact that Muddlo is a terrible TM.Dont disagree but like his father he is a club legend and is loved, so the odd error here and are soon forgotten
brandonbee48
I may have missed it but I can't find any reference to the crowd. Did moving it to Thursday leave a lot of empty spaces on the terraces? Great result for the Bees and well done Bomber. Regards. Alan.

Even winning the home leg of our semi will be an achievement. Â Would be more than happy to see the Bees go on and win it. ABP!
mdmc82
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha !  What a farce.  Glad I chose not to spend my time and money tonight !  Horton and Watson have tonight changed the definition of "promotion" in the Oxford English Dictionary.  The Cov riders are chancing their lives and livelihood for these 2 Charlie's -  Rocket science it ain't, but Mick and Neil are not astronauts  Shame on you guys !!!!!! you missed a good meeting. big crowd (which I was very surprised about) and 5 riders who gave 110%, you could see how much each of them wanted it. so proud of them all

Far more than any Monday meeting and they sold out of programmes. Â Bomber and Robbo rolling back the years. Did moving it to Thursday leave a lot of empty spaces on the terraces? Great result for the Bees and well done Bomber. Regards. Alan. Was one of the biggest crowds of the season (was very shocked myself`) the atmosphere and the way the fans got behind the riders was brilliant Embarrassing so far, nobody stepping up to the plate to replace the two missing men. Spark completely gone, riders falling off left right and centre. Looks like its going to be a poor ending to what was an excellent season. Â Agree with the Priest protest though. How hard can it be to pick a rider off a list? There were no riders available to guest off the fast track list due to injury, Fixtures or personal commitments. King's Lynn took the last available rider (which is why they had Stokes) Leaving Bees with no available rider
Bee 26
Cracking meeting tonight on a well prepared track. Decent size crowd, was quite surprised  Bomber was just awesome and no one was going to catch him.  Schlein was an absolute disgrace nearly throwing punches at Havvy in the pits, the bloke should be reported.  Up the Bees
Star Lady
Well I really enjoyed tonight. All credit to the 5 Man Coventry team, fully deserved the win. rode with conviction and very obviously wanted it more than a couple of the Lynn riders. Had some great banter on the terraces. I don't blame KL for protesting, rules are rules. Having sId that the rules are bloody stupid when they stop a British rider from riding. For Lynn IMHO the reserves did all that was asked of them, as did Lambert & Porsing. As for the three so called heat leaders. Mmmmmm maybe enough said. on tonight's performance Lynn won't get a sniff of the final and I have a sneaky feeling C oven try will be champions providing they don't lose it off the track.
higgi21
It'll be Ryan Terry Daley I reckon. We'll see. Â No matter what happens, its an absolute farce. I've made my position clear earlier on this thread. As far as I'm concerned, rearranging the fixture for tonight, when it was obvious our team would be weakened, was nothing short of disgraceful in itself. But to do so without even being cast-iron sure that they could arrange suitable replacement for one of our key missing riders (Garrity)? Well... words fail me! Â I'm going because I have a season ticket and have paid for the meeting. However, if I didn't have one, there's no way I would be going to this. Â I'm not going to post any more on this before I set off for the meeting because I am so wound up about the situation. Â However, when something which is supposed to be enjoyable is making you feel miserable, you have to question why you do it anymore. And your feelings now?
mdmc82
tell this team that they can't do it and they fight harder to prove you wrong
Star Fever
Half-expected Lynn to lose tbh, as we've totally gone off the boil lately and with Niels and Lewis R out only makes it worse. Â My hopes were raised I admit by the Coventry doom merchants on here but they were wrong about that AND the likelihood of a poor crowd it seems... Â Keep it up coventry, poole could be top very soon. Terrific from sargeant tonight, Â LOL don't worry. Lynn will probably end up 3rd in the league at this rate behind Coventry (1st) and your lot :/ Edited September 4, 2014 by Star Fever
Star Lady
The meeting is fixed look at the updates site [  I stood near silver bee and at no point did he say the meeting was fixed. Thats an insult to 5 excellent Coventry riders  quote name=Mr. S1" post="2511956" timestamp="1409864006]What a piss poor display from kings lynn . They should be ashamed of themselves.  Not all of them to be fair   I said we'd win! Bagpuss
I agree tbh I said they wouldn't win it from Day 1. I'll probably get a bit of stick for saying this but Lynn relied heavily on the Iversen & Bjerre combo. You said it was all because of Kerr back in June! Â I think the phrase which sums up our season best is 'peaked too early'

I think the phrase which sums up our season best is 'peaked too early' Good memory!  Don't know who it was but someone on the forum also said that Lynn relied too heavily on Lambert & Porsing too, so I guess they're right - we rely too heavily on everyone in the team!
