Lost 58-32 last time at Stoke.

Weaker without Morley.

Weaker without Baseby.

Lambert just back from injury.

We shall see.

Both Mason and Ayres scored more than Morley last time out. Chessell knows Stoke better than Baseby and is in some mighty form right now. We had no Lambert and they had Wilson at number 1. Yes - we shall see!

Sounds like it may be off anyway ?

I was not there but if the above statements are correct then it does sound like a shambles. Kent will need to do a lot better at Buxton sunday where we have Ben Morley back and Buxton have just lost their best rider Carr to injury, who was not on a high average for guest purposes, ,,so no excuses

Taken from the updates site Waco, and it was a riders mother doing the Texting, so they must be pretty spot on, Yes Kent really need to get there act together at Buxton tomorrow, but with Ben back and Lambo getting straight back on it tonight, you should be able to win tomorrow comfortably, especially with Buxtons best rider missing through injury.

Kent riders weren't keen at all to ride. Fair play to thr last man standing in ht 15 Ayres. He looks keen to learn and I felt for him when he was following Lambert with Atkin behind and came down last bend. He looked so dejected.

Compton much improved from previous visits. I think Chessell prefers a slicker track although looked impressive in the tactical.

Stoke did have the rub of the green with Chessell packing up while leading and Compton and Ayres had passed Shuttleworth 14 and were on a 1-5 but Payne got the better gate in the re run. Maybe Compton and Chessell had issues with RR

Interesting how Chessell was permitted to ride in the first place. Maybe when the SCB get the meeting results his score will be deducted or I along with Stoke have missed a rule change and you can have a guest for anyone now.

I'm not one for rules....Should Chessell have ridden at 1 for Morley with no. 2 being R/R? Maybe that is why Compton and Chessell didn't do a RR

If that was the case Mason and Lambert would have been ineligible for the R/R rides. It is the rider directly above in average and any below that can take R/R.

Personally im surprised the meeting even went ahead! The track was awful. Arrived at 5pm to see a soft mushy inside line and hard fine outer. All the riders walked, kicked and commented on it and yet nothing was done except shrugging of shoulders by the promotion until the referee ordered some work to take place which started at just before 7pm.

After 40 minutes of pointless grading the meeting went ahead on with all riders just using the outside line which produced poor racing and far too many falls as all riders were forced into a small area.

I hope all those that took a tumble are ok and Benji recovers asap although im surprised nobody was seriously injured.

As a sub note I also really feel for the MDL boys who had their part cancelled due to time constraints after the track work.

All in all I think the Stoke promotion should hang their heads in shame and apologise for this farce. I for one will never make the trip to the potteries again!
