Chalkie
Isn't it the play offs that have moved to 29th sep? Unfortunately the deadline is still 19th (even though that leaves 10 days free inbetween!) Ah, you could be right-memory playing tricks again! mdmc82
Ah, you could be right-memory playing tricks again! Means bees now have 3 home meetings & 2 away to rearrange before cut off (and that's whilst hoping for no more rain offs) not going to happen. A ORLOV
It's been called off already. SWINDON’S Bank Holiday clash with Lakeside has been postponed due to the adverse weather conditions. The meeting, which could be vital to the Elite League play-off aspirations of both clubs, has been swiftly re-arranged for Thursday September 4. Swindon Speedway would like to thank Lakeside for their co-operation in quickly agreeing to the new date. The above has now been changed. According to Swindon and BSPA websites we now have the following Aug 28th Swindon Lakeside Sep 4th Swindon Wolves Edited August 25, 2014 by A ORLOV
Red Robin
The above has now been changed. According to Swindon and BSPA websites we now have the following Aug 28th Swindon Lakeside Sep 4th Swindon Wolves Yes! apparently Wolves will have problems getting a full team for this thursday so Rosco has agreed that they visit on Sept 4th instead. If only other managers would treat us with the same courtesy, sadly they do not !!!!

Suggest you may like to go to Lakeside's official website which explains why the Vortex Hammers will be at Blunsdon this Thursday - weather permitting that is! Yes but we could have been riding against a weakened Wolves team on that night, which we agreed to postpone in the best interests of speedway.

Anzum
Rosco also said 19th when interviewed before the KL meeting. In fact said Belle Vue had offered us the 22nd but that it was no good as being after the cut off.
mdmc82
Wonder if it has changed from 22nd to 19th as that's when promoters seem to think it is
SteveLyric2
SCB rule 17.1.2 states:- The Play-offs will incorporate the top 4 teams in the final league table (cut-off 22nd Sept).
BritPete
This is a huge meeting for both teams. With KL, and Poole, clear at the top, there are four teams locked on 41 points each chasing the other two places There are many permutations, but right now, we need to get full points tonight.
mdmc82
After watching Lakeside against the bees in our double header last week, I would think this is the meeting Swindon are most likely to win from their remaining 5 fixtures.
