SteveLyric2
Not sure what team Leicester will be tracking after Buckowski's shoulder injury last night. Poole will be missing Milik (U21s) but Craig Cook guests, I gather. Not sure about our Poles with it being a Saturday fixture, so who knows how this one will pan out? pointsmeanplayoffs
Good choice of guest by Poole IMO. Should imagine they'll win pretty easily.

SteveLyric2
Surely your Poles will put Poole first?? I'm sure they would in normal circumstances, but its what their Polish clubs insist on that will rule - especially with the rearranged Polish Elite Riders Championship on Friday and a full Polish Extraliga programme on Sunday!! ps Woffy is involved in both Friday and Sunday meetings so hope he's not too tired again to return for your Saturday and Monday meetings?! I will be watching intently on Friday to see if either of the Poole Poles strain anything during the meeting-instead of the sick certificate they could always consider the 28 day ban- withholding services option Edited August 21, 2014 by racers and royals

Lions website says Leicester are definitely without Buckowski ( broken shoulder) & Klindt ( injured scaphoid),& are waiting on fitness checks for Korneliussen & Bates. So they are looking for guests & with 6 teams riding on saturday it won't leave much to choose from, especially as Poole have already grabbed track specialist Craig Cook & with Schlein not able to guest under the 8 day rule as he was at Leicester with Lakeside last saturday. SteveLyric2
Just to give the regular non-Poole fans something else to comment on.... Matt Williamson replaces Benji Compton .................. ....as Benji is riding for Kent in the NL.

justathought
He has tonsillitis apparently but is hoping to be fit enough to ride for Sheffield tomorrow night (Friday) at Redcar. Which if that is the case should be ok for Saturday.
The Observer
With yet another makeshift side, really cannot see anything other than a heavy home defeat for the Lions. This has been a real baptism for Leicester in their first season in the EL, hampered now by injuries and fixture congestion.
Woz01
It says on leicester website we are better off with Cook!!!! At Leicester you probably are!
SteveLyric2
Easy win for the title favourites. Buczkowski and Klindt out for the Lions. Bates, Korneliussen and Stead could be joining them as well. Mads was declared to ride in Denmark this evening, but that meeting has been called off, so presumably will be riding on Saturday. Lets hope for an injury-free Polish Elite Riders Championship tonite for Poole's 3 heat leaders!!

Astill lodge lion
Is there a reason the Lions - Pirates 'A' fixture hasn't been re-arranged yet?
SteveLyric2
Is there a reason the Lions - Pirates 'A' fixture hasn't been re-arranged yet? Presumably can't agree a date?! Rider availability gets worse as other countries leagues get into their own play-offs - and they would take precedence.

foreverblue
Any updates on replacements for Klindt and Bucko? Shame Bucko isn't riding love watching him.
