Young51
Let's put it this way. I wouldn't be disappointed to see the Moanarchs lose, but that's just cos I can't stand em! The feeling is well mutual Shadders old bean.. Although how anyone that has Rye House as their home track can slag anybody elses track is way beyond me to be honest.I can't make this match sadly but let's hope it's a good one and Berwick do better and provide more entertainment than they did during their KO Cup humping..Wishing everyone a good and more importantly a safe meeting.. Goodiepatchie
Latest from the Edinburgh Official site. Berwick Bandits will arrive at Armadale tonight determined to improve on recent form round the Scotwaste Arena and pick up at least one league point. The charge for the top spot in the league race and thus the first choice of play off opponent is very much a three horse race with Scotwaste Monarchs, the Bandits and Somerset desperate for very league point available. Form team Ipswich could join the leading group if the pull off a shock win at Somerset tonight. However, it is the Bandits who fancy their chances of top spot with some winnable away matches to come. Scotwaste Monarchs have had an illness worry all week over team captain Derek Sneddon. He was stung on the cheek by a wasp at the beginning of the week and suffered a severe allergic reaction that saw his face blow up like a balloon. Despite treatment at his local hospital Derek was very doubtful about his ability to ride yesterday morning. However, the swelling has now subsided a little and at Friday lunchtime Derek said, "My face is still far from pretty but a lot better than last night. I'm good to go." Good news indeed for the team. Scotwaste Monarchs resident mountaineer, Geoff Craythorne, will be at the stadium gates tonight to answer any questions about the Ben Nevis climb, now rescheduled for 20th September, and will be taking names of anyone who wishes to join one of the riders climbing teams tonight won't be one of those 'winnable' fixturesThe feeling is well mutual Shadders old bean.. screm
I`m confident Berwick can shock the speedway World and grab a point. Though I may want to have a re-think. Edited August 22, 2014 by screm

Shadders
Bit cheeky of Edinburgh to try and replace Fox with Sneddon after the Yank withdrew with an injury suffered in a previous meeting
Chris Hutcheson
I thought it was a bit cheeky of the bandits to challenge it since it was their rider's over zealous riding that caused the injury! Glad Kus and Jensen got up from their crash, looked a nasty one. Edited August 22, 2014 by DaleDiver

How can you tell the difference between an over zealous move as you say or a racing incident from the terrace or is this just your blinkered opinion on what you wanted to see that is a tad dis-respectful to the Berwick rider and in my humble opinion a bit cheeky.

Gazc
you have to ride to the rules. But what rules you have the rules stipulated on paper then you have the Edinburgh set only to be used exclusively by them when they spit the dummy . Bit cheeky of Edinburgh to try and replace Fox with Sneddon after the Yank withdrew with an injury suffered in a previous meeting Better watch Shads the local's take great offence to anyone criticising there team don't want you being the next human sacrifice on the Armadale moors worse still if it is there Giro week and there tanked up with Buckie and a tin of Evo-Stick they could turn nasty and steal your NHS card. Glad Kus and Jensen got up from their crash, looked a nasty one. Why wouldn't Berwick challenge another team breaking the rules though? Surely if it was the other way around you would expect our management to challenge it? And Matty can't be blamed for the crash IMO, he went in hard but there's no way he would have expected to pick up that much drive. Agree re Kus & Jensen. Looked nasty!

He carried far to much speed into the corner. No need whatsoever. But never mind, we won anyway.

Cj69
Slightly disappointed we didnt hit 60 but hey ho got the win. Bandits appeared at points Jensen was very impressive in his 2 wins, good gates and fast. Doolan appeared for a great win over Cook. Showed his experience when Cook dived in on bend 3 but kept his cool and cut back on 4 to win it. Kus and Edberg also got among points without looking too threatening. Vissing (surprisingly) and Bellego (not surprisingly) very poor. Worrall/Fricke unbeaten in their 3 races together and looked fast when infront. Sedgy solid as ever. Sneddon should have scored more but his gating seems to have deserted him tonight (I always though of him as very good gater but slow rider). Little disappointed with Cook but dont think he made a gate all night, seen him practising after the meeting. Stand out man was Masters really got the hang of the Dale now, very smooth and fast. There were a few nasty looking crashes over the evening but lucky everyone walked away. Bit like Berwick with loads of FTG but as its a small track racing can look better/closer with less spacing out. IF we get choice of teams for the play-offs can see us picking Berwick in our group. Should add some fans to both gates and we are capable of getting at least a point a theirs. Nice to have a local rival this season Edited August 22, 2014 by Cj69
