mdmc82
Probably the same bug that MJJ uses on an all to often basis. Can't comment on that with bees as only meetings he has missed so far are due to Danish fixtures on same night. Last weekend he had Danish league fri then meant to race Poland on Sunday but still turned up to race for Bees on the sat. Hopefully continues to do so, been getting involved in the team spirit which is good.
stevebrum
IF MJJ is riding in Denmark it's very different to just not being bothered like Pawlicki. I would expect any Danish rider to put his Danish meetings first. And thats why Pawlicki missed all his other meetings thru Polish commitments. Pawlicki has used the same line that MJJ has done. Made an excuse because his authorities told him too/couldn't be bothered with EL - delete as applicable.

But thought he missed Wolves meetings on the sat, not the night of the Polish meeting? So unlike MJJ his fixtures didn't clash. The difference also being that MJJ signed half way through year so his Danish fixture was in place first & would result in a ban if he misses it. Hopefully if lose Friday, we will be able to pick up some away points to make up for it. Edited August 20, 2014 by mdmc82

mdmc82
Teams for Saturday:- Vortex Lakeside Hammers: Davey Watt (Captain), Richard Lawson, Lewis Bridger, Kim Nilsson, Rory Schlein, Ben Morley, Adam Ellis. Coventry Bees: Hans Andersen, Kyle Howarth, Michael Jepsen Jensen, Kenneth Hansen, Chris Harris (Captain), Jason Garrity, James Sarjeant. is there a rule on how often the same rider can guest for a team? Rory has rode almost as much for Lakeside as he has King's lynn

He may well have done but he is representing Denmark in the 'Under 21 SWC Final' on Saturday with practice Friday.

Maybe with only 3 PL teams not riding & other teams needing guests it's proving hard finding guests. Then they both have to wait to hear if Garrity, Hansen or Watt are riding. Gemini
Garrity and Hansen both expected to be riding. Shouldn't have thought Watt was with a broken bone in his foot plus arm injuries. Edited August 21, 2014 by Gemini
Bees_Man
Still cannot for the life of me see why we considered Howarth at the start of the season when he misses miles more meetings than he rides. Just seems crazy. Beginning to think the same about MJJ. Edited August 21, 2014 by Bees_Man
SCB
Would be nice for the club the confirm MJJ is not riding and if a guest is allowed or not. I did say I wasnt going to this weekends meetings only to change my mind, now we're left with this (lack of) news. For the record, MJJ is down to ride in Denmark tomorrow. Bees_Man
I'm only going to one of the meetings, and it will be the one with the full team. Not going to watch another half a team. Friday nights are killing us, especially when using double up riders.

SCB
Lakeside site says Watf hoping to be back for this weekend (we know how much he loves Brandon so can see him waiting until sat if fit) Watt is hit and miss at Brandon. Im sure he once scored an 18 point maximum for Eastbourne.
mdmc82
Bees had booked Klindt for Howarth but he is now injured which is why delay. North guests for Watt. Good guest as North was the strongest member of Swindons team on Monday and rode Brandon well.

I guess its down to the home promotion agreeing!!
