bigeddiechek
Well, I thoroughly enjoyed the double-header.A decent crowd, lots of good racing from the Bandits, and thankfully Robson and King, and excellent value for money. Having gone to Armadale last night with an open mind to see if I do wear Shielfield-tinted glasses, I reflected tonight on why Berwick is much more entertaining: for me. The passing was roughly the same, a wee bit more tonight. Both tracks were immaculately prepared. Both had excellent presentation. Both had plenty of strong riders. So, what is the difference? To sum it up in one word: spectacularity.Berwick, for whatever reason, has spectacularity. And to show that I am not being biased, out of other tracks I've visited, I can safely say that Redcar and Sheffield too have the spectacularity factor. This, I believe, is the key to the future success of speedway. Spectacularity.
Shadders
lots of good racing from the Bandits Are you serious? That was piss poor after the second bend. Kus couldn't even get past Olly Greenwood.

screm
The last 3 races must have been run after the curfew were they not ? I`m sure that wouldn't have been the case, breaking the curfew of 9-30pm, would certainly not go down well with one or two local residents, the sad thing being it is only one or two. bigeddiechek
For a definitive answer to the curfew last night. http://www.berwickbandits.co/article/double-header-part-two-part-two-curfew-runs-dry-berwick-take-further-three-points-spirited Yeah I was there last night and saw that one pass in 28 heats aswell I - and many others - saw more; in addition to the spectacularity of a big, fast racetrack. Good night out.
screm
The last 3 races must have been run after the curfew were they not ? Looking at the link posted, there was "a small over running of the curfew", though it doesn't necessarily mean the last three races were after curfew time. I take it Matej will still be reserve next month ? stand to be corrected. In the latest set of averages on the BSPA site issued on 21/08/2014 has Jensen still above Kus in the averages. screm
Heat 12 started at 21:29, heat 13 finished at 21:35 I`m sure even the local usual complainers wont mind going 5mins over.

screm
Dont the averages change after the 23rd of each month for the following one? Don't know, if they do its probably a good idea to keep an eye on the averages via the BSPA site.
Robinh88
Heard a couple of fans leaving the stadium complaining of the poor racing? We had good close MATCHES in the past due to the piss poor teams we were tracking Berwick have a strong side and any poor side who turn up get a hiding. When Berwick didn't make the gate committed first bends saw the Bandits re-take control of the race. Very smoothly run presentation all in all coupled with a very good team The racing at Berwick is what it is. Making starts is imperative here
arthur cross
Dont the averages change after the 23rd of each month for the following one? Scores up to and including the 23rd of the old month count towards the averages that will apply from the 1st of the new month ... the gap of the last week or so at the end of the month allows time for all the figurework to be done, ready to publish the new month's full set of averages around the 29th of the old month. Go to the speedwaygb website and probably by Friday (29th) in the declarations and greensheet chapter of the Premier League, you'll see the up-to-date issue of September's averages marked "effective from 01-09-14" ... once you open that file, it'll show each team's current 1-to-7 for the final days of using August's averages next to what their averages will be in September. All you have to do yourself is then work out where those September averages will alter any team's number-1 or their reserves.
