I'll be heading back to Swindon on Thursday for the 2nd time this year :) I'm hoping for a slightly better result than the one we had in early July! After the home defeat last Thursday to Poole, I'd like to think we could bounce back from that and get a good result! Not sure if I've got the Robins reserve pairing the right way round or not? As always, I'll wait to be corrected if I'm wrong :P

Hopefully Swindon will bounce back from their defeat yesterday.

Feel though if they are to get a win against a strong King's Lynn team they will not only have to up their game but also lose some of the negativity as can't be helping them with team spirit.

This should be a good meeting

After the disappointment of last night this should be a good meeting and Swindon should get the win as they did a few weeks ago against KL. We have a good guest in Hans replacing Peter Kildemand, wonder if he will be wearing his Robins leathers again.

Who's the ref ?

I wonder if the 'lack of team spirit' and 'negativity' that some people talk about on another thread will be evident?

Toughest home fixture that remains and nothing less than 3 points will do. I can't believe PUK will ride as poorly this time round and he could be the difference between the 2 and 3 points.

I am guessing there will be no shenanigans from the ref, whoever that maybe, as;

  • its a long way down from that referee's box and
  • Orion and the 'great unwashed' stand underneath said box so they can expect a 'proper welcome to Swindon' if that is the case. :P

I am going for a 49-41 victory to those 'miserable, negative Jack and Danny' Robins.

Not so much that we need these points, more to the point that we need to perform. To get back on to that huge pedestal we occupied at the start of the season, we now need to exert ourselves in the front of our play-off rivals. Although we beat Belle Vue away, we have lost 3 out of the last 4 matches away.

We are more than capable of getting points here, but most of all we want a performance, fitting of the league champions, that we are trying to achieve.

Anything less and we shall lose that momentum.
