Matt Ford yet again showing himself to be a fool.

I agree the ban needs to be set in place sooner rather than later.

But to say ' in his defence he didnt ride' is just incredible.

Darcy PLANNED to ride but he got caught, so according to Ford thats fine then. Darcy was prepared to put everyone at risk, but luckily he got caught.

Matt Ford needs to learn to keep his mouth closed he just doesnt help himself.

For once I do partially agree with Ford that it is unfair on the clubs that the ban/suspension is pending, they need to plan ahead, and I guess so does Ward too. Not sure 'immoral' is the right word though. Where I question this article is this part:

Surely the point is that when tested, Ward was over the limit and was due to be on track in that state. So I am not sure what Ford means by this?

As i said before. The FIM are dragging their feet and stringing this out. If they are going to ban him, then ban him, if they are going to say you serve untill the season starts which would then be 7 months but he can ride in domestic leagues and not the GP's, but go through the challenge then tell him that fact. Like Matt, and As i see it at this moment in time not only are they keeping him dangling they are keeping his employers dangling and thats out of order and not on.

They have had more, than enough time to make a decision.

I guess the morale of the story is the rider should not have been drinking in the first place to cause this FIM delay and thus causing such impact on his clubs across Europe.

Who woke you up. Your obsessed mate. Go back to bed..

So, you have run out of valid arguments to debate with me, you resort to this. The FACT is we can blame the FIM, the world for hating him but the only person to blame is himself, is that not a FACT?

starman doesn't do valid argument. He just spouts rhetoric statements he has heard other make. It what makes him such a laugh.

With a few drinks :drink: .

You're obsessed too!

So, he's made a few mistakes in a short space of time. He's a bloody good rider and a crowd puller every where he goes (speedway circuits, pubs, hotels, courtrooms - they've all received extra exposure because of him). If they slap a long ban on him it'll be more than just speedway that suffers, but I can see Poole being in serious trouble, especially as Holder is rumoured to be joining Swindon. For the good of world peace, they should give him no more than a 6 month ban, which he will have served before the start of the 2015 season, and at least 9 GP wildcards, with points scored in the 3,6 and 9th all counting double.

Speedway will do just fine without him, no rider is bigger then the sport. Neither FIM or Wada can or should put any consideration who he is or how big

talent he is or is not. All that matters for them is that he is a speedway rider that have failed a breath test.

And im very sure that Darcy does NOT think he's bigger than the sport. So again, you are just surmising. Or posting for the sake of something to say..

132 Pages?!!

Seriously guys, enough is enough!

Already tried to tell them mate, but they are obsessed with it. To them its like waking up on Christmas morning to a new Tonka Toy. Very sad for grown men and women..

Bit full of yourself aren't you?

Why would people stop doing something because YOU said so?

Grown men and women watch coronation street and X factor so what's different about discussing Darcy Ward?

He is 'entertainment' and the reaction from his supporters to his misfortune is 'entertainment'.

The little fool made his own bed so he can lie in it.

Great rider but worthless scroat of a person.

It's winter and this thread is something to bide away the winter months with. :)
