Jacques
what exactly does he add then?? A few good races?? Rather sad, in fact very sad if you go to a GP because of one over hyped rider imo. Did anyone miss him on Saturday at Torun....? I know I didn't even think about him and it was a brilliant night!
Popular Post Blazeaway
You know, with anyone else I would be thinking, yes, the guy will learn from this and with that determination the guy will be back and will win a title. We all make mistakes, so I would not be against him being back in 2016 but there is something about Darcy that makes me doubt he has learned from this, and I can't help thinking he will idiot up again before 2016. I hope I am wrong, I want to see him back racing with the likes of Tai, Emil and Holder in 2016. Giving him a few wildcards next year is entirely the wrong thing to do. He needs a proper long ban as punishment and then he might start getting it into his head that his behaviour is unacceptable. Oh and move as far away from Middleditch as possible.

OveFundinFan
He says maybe get couple wildcards too. He is an Aussie, only one gp in Aussie next year, dont wild cards only go to a rider from the country the gp is in?

Jacques
Ward or ...Harris, Bjerre, Lindgren. I'd rather have Ward but understand the anti brigade There is nothing "anti" about it. It's his behaviour that has caused the issue. Harris, Bjerre, Lindgren haven't had their names in the headlines for the wrong thing the last few years, only Darcy holds that trophy .........
mdmc82
Really glad Ward hasn't been given a wild card. He threw away his best chance this year and so should now have to earn the place through qualification like Doyle has. Personally I haven't missed him in the Gp as seemed to spend most of his time coming down to force a rerun. There are better riders in the series than him such as Iversen and Holder.

Ward will be given a wildcard for 2016. If not the earliest ge would get bsck in is 2017, which would mean an effective three year exclusion from gos, which imho is too harsh.Fwiw I think he is better than both nki and holdee.

On what do you form that opinion?? Cant be facts surely?? Hes won one gp is it?? And the others have been at least 3rd in the world.... He could and should be better, but we all know whos fault that is..... Starman's
Dornier
The people who think that WARD is the be all and end all of speedway are a bit deluded. whether Ward rides or not won`t affect Poole or the Grand Prix`s. it will ALL carry on as normal without him as it has done upto today and will do for evermore. !! Ward will carry on in his own sweet way doing what he wants until he`s brought down to earth with a bang...

If the ban is a short one (assuming he gets one at all), he may be able to go through the qualifiers. If he's as good as he's made out to be he will no doubt qualify for 2016; if he doesn't he won't be good enough anyway.
jacksback
Who would you rather see in a GP line-up Chris Harris or Darcy Ward?
theknow 2
Really pleased to see BSI/FIM make the right decision regarding Ward for 2015.

Of course if his ban is less than a year he may be given the gp challenge wildcard?better?? On what do you form that opinion?? Cant be facts surely?? Hes won one gp is it?? Starman's I was basing it on 2014 form Points per meeting in the gps this season would be one measure.average in sweden and poland would be another. Dolgin's rankings have him 4th best rider in the world in 2014 (as do my own - in both instsnceshigher than nki and hokder). Not much between the three riders imho, but in 2014 id say ward nki then holder. Edited October 15, 2014 by waihekeaces1
Alan_Jones
Ward is such a major figure in the GPs that there was no mention of him in the PRs for the Aussie GP, Monster's sponsorship renewal or the wild card announcement.

No rider is bigger than the SGP and good to see no pressure applied to include him.

waiheke1
Will ward get any restrictions on his passport, will this go down anywhere else on public record? Why would it? He hasn't broken any laws. Logically you'd think it may affect visas though if unsble to work in the profession for which the visa was issued,
