OveFundinFan
He should have thought these things out BEFORE he started supping. He's the professional and should know the rules.

It highlights he is still far from bring professional. Has he learned from this suspension? I doubt it.

I'm not sure Ward would learn anything even if he spent two years at Oxford University, apart from the way to the campus bar..
SteveLyric2
if Ward is banned for a certain period of time surely there will also be work permit issues that accompany this ? only if he is based in or wants to race in UK - which are both doubtful!! pugwash
Anybody that thinks the majority of riders don't have a drink during the Speedway season are deluded, & definitely don't go to Cardiff !! But the majority of riders are not top riders... and no wonder... That's the difference between top riders and the majority. Top riders don't do it. Wonder what a multi world champion was doing in a night club at 3 am night before a GP?
racers and royals
So if he avoids suspension or is available from the start of the 2015 he`s not in the GP`S next season.

Hate to quibble, but Oxford University is not a campus university so it does not have a campus bar; the Student Union does not have a bar. (There are bars attached to the JCRs (Junior Common Rooms) of the individual colleges)

screm
No wild card for Darcy..GOOD! Extremely unlikely I know, but what if Ward doesn't get a ban, he could be named as 16th rider for every GP next year.

sommelier
No wild card for Darcy..GOOD! So you feel Ward ads nothing to the GP ? I go to a minimum of 5 GPS a year, with this line up i will NOT attend any GP in 2015

I go to a minimum of 5 GPS a year, with this line up i will NOT attend any GP in 2015what exactly does he add then?? A few good races?? Rather sad, in fact very sad if you go to a GP because of one over hyped rider imo.
TheReturn
So you feel Ward ads nothing to the GP ? I go to a minimum of 5 GPS a year, with this line up i will NOT attend any GP in 2015 Yeah, Ward is what makes a GP! The GP will survive without him. Extremely unlikely I know, but what if Ward doesn't get a ban, he could be named as 16th rider for every GP next year. I thought the host GP selected the rider for the 16th spot? So in the UK, the British Final winner gets the spot. Edited October 14, 2014 by TheReturn

racers and royals
Darcy Ward #4⃣3⃣ @D_Dublu_racing Sad not in the GPS next year. But I'll be back to win a tittle. And who knows might get a couple wildcards too 110% to my league racing Edited October 14, 2014 by racers and royals

And who knows might get a couple wildcards too 110% to my league racing You know, with anyone else I would be thinking, yes, the guy will learn from this and with that determination the guy will be back and will win a title. We all make mistakes, so I would not be against him being back in 2016 but there is something about Darcy that makes me doubt he has learned from this, and I can't help thinking he will idiot up again before 2016. I hope I am wrong, I want to see him back racing with the likes of Tai, Emil and Holder in 2016.
