Starman2006
I saw a mention some where on FACEBOOK that Darcy Ward might be invited to drive a sprint car or midget car in the USA in 2015. Most speedway riders adapt quickly to these formula so it could be plausible? i read that Darcy was going into Racing, spend 6 weeks at the Racing academy school in Newmarket then be first jockey to Sir Michael Stoute next season.. He could keep his weight down to 8st 10. Edited September 24, 2014 by Starman2006
The Doctor...
Just found it, was a coment he made on Twitter, I think it was just one of his many thoughts on what to do next. Someone had also stated that there may be 4 Aussie's in the GP's next year and he replied it will be more like 3, so he may already have idea's up his sleeve to what he is going to do next year. Darcy Ward #4⃣3⃣ @D_Dublu_racing · Sep 17 RV2 in mxgp next year ?? Mmm possible. I agree with that if they don't make an issue of this it makes the whole thing of riders turning up at meetings after drinking a farse. If Darcy can get away with it then so can we. Not that top riders with any sense would even think of drinking before a meeting. But something has to be done to show he can't get away with acting like an out and out prat all the time. That twitter post is about Ryan Villopoto - a current supercross and mx rider...nothing about Ward doing it.
Woz01
Wouldn't Darcy be banned in mx and any other motorcycle event too?
norbold
I see Darcy couldn't even get BFD's name right! Darcy Ward #4⃣3⃣ @D_Dublu_racing R.i.p Dave paxley. Top bloke Incidentally, what happens if the unthinkable happens and Darcy Ward is cleared of all charges? What happens about his suspension, the money he's lost and his chances in the Grand Prix? weatherwatcher
A bit of hard luck they must have breathalised him if they smelt drink on him, don't think the FIA would have been that daft. If all he gets for this is the time he has spent during his suppention then he has gotton off very lightly indeed. He should have thought about the money hew would be losing and the chances of next years GP's when he did what he did before the GP. It is also what happens now the the sponsers that back him. Will they want his name to back thier products, if I was them I would be thinking very hard about that one.

TheReturn
Instead of sitting his suspension out quietly I see ward his acting professionally still by slagging off other professionals on Twitter. I would say it was a cynical ploy to deflect attention away from himself, but I don't think Ward is that clever to be cynical! https://twitter.com/D_Dublu_racing/status/511162888279818241 Watching polish league. Nicki Pedersen your unbelievable. wipe people out with no care. I think Ward is a brilliant rider on the bike, but the more I see and read about this guy the better I think speedway would be better off without him (I don't just mean the failed test). Sadly there are too many sycophants telling him how he is missed and how great he is.
jacksback
If the officials failed to follow the the regulations relating to the breath testing of Darcy Ward at the meeting then they have nothing. If they failed to ask him if he intended to race that day they have nothing as he could have attended with the purpose to not compete (that is to withdraw from the meeting). If the question wasn't asked (sign in sheet not signed) then he has nothing to answer for.
norbold
He should be suspended for at least two years for not knowing the difference between your and you're!
Grand Central
He should be suspended for at least two years for not knowing the difference between your and you're! The guy knowing the difference between right and wrong would suffice.

He has no regrets about this latest incident as per his others and if he did what i hear after being tested then the bloke is an idiot.
