Really? There is that much to discuss about cleaning carpets there is a forum for it?

The problem I find with carpet cleaners forums is whenever there is an important issue to discuss, it gets swept under the....

If you clean carpets with a bucket of soapy water and a mop then "no" not much to talk about, but professional carpet cleaning has a lot to do with chemistry, get it wrong and you could be the owner of a carpet you dont want, and with the additional cost of paying for the new one - and whilst yo can get carpet at £5 a sqm, it can also cost £100 sqm and then some.

Sure, you dont need a university degree but you do need something substantial filling the gap between the ears.

There are plenty "splash and dash" carpet cleaners around (as per "rip off Britain" or "Rogue Traders"), and you can go to a supermarket and hire a Rug Doctor and soak your carpet in sticky detergent filled carpet cleaning detergent so your carpets get dirty again pretty quick, but I, of course, was talking about professional carpet cleaning where a pro will spend £10,000 - £40,000 on equipment, and invested in quality training, together with effective insurance - BIG difference.

Of course there is. What kind of shag you like for instance.

Shag carpets can leave nasty burns.

Give Philip a break. He brings an insight into this forum that I for one am grateful for. If it's in his interest too then so be it. Keep it up Phil.

Echo that.

I am no fan of SS but he does indeed bring an interesting perspective to the forum and argue with him by all means but calling him a lap dog for BSI is silly.

I am sure he gets a few freebies thrown his way but hell he is entitled to post what he wants how he wants just like the rest of us.

My only real beef with him is his annoying habit of printing his first word in capitals :)

Is this Ward plonker gonna get judged or what?

It's about time they decided and give him a stiff reminder that he is not as big a star as he may think and he will be judged the same as any other rider.

Thanks Pandorum. Let's keep this forum civilised and informative.

I`ve always thought that Philip Rising posted on here as a speedway fan, albeit a speedway fan with connections, but a speedway fan non the less. Sad others aren't able to see that.

Oh stop being so reasonable Screm.

Still teaching?

I'm not a teacher, I'm a behaviour management co ordinator.

I work with children who are more mature than you. Sad you have to abuse anybody with a positive comment or a different opinion to yours.
