Moto-x is a totally different product from riding around a speedway track. We will have to see how he goes when he gets back over here. He just may miss the rest of this year if they have failed in getting his visa application correct and if the border agency deem his capable of meeting all the points of admission to ride in the UK.

As far as I know there have been no statements saying that he has applied and been granted a visa, for this year.

You can pratice around a track all you like, you can do it from dawn to dusk 7 days a week, actually riding against 3 other top class riders is a different kettle of fish, I know he has a great talent, but he has been side lined for quite a while now.

I just hope he is not sitting at home in Aus with a few pint of Fosters a night.

But it keeps the boys fit, and keeps their reactions sharp. That and gym work certainly help, but there's no substitute for actually race riding to get them race fit. Darcy will come back pretty straight.

Yes, did not Ward break his wrist just before the 2011 season after a moto x accident

I hope it wasn't his drinking hand.  :party::rofl:

Ward has signed with Torun as reserve for remainder of 2015 season.

Aren't Polish teams only allowed to track 3 foreigners at a time?!

I confess I don't fully understand all the Polish rules anymore than I understand the British ones!?

Thank you Philip.

It will be interesting to see how he is riding after a long period off when his peers have a few months competitive racing under their belts.

I'll drink to that!! :drink: :drink:

Doubt it will matter , I think he will be spanking most as soon as he gets going , a few months out won't stop him from being the talented rider he was.

Pearson and Tatum gave Darcy the opportunity on a plate, even giving him the exact sentences to repeat and failed to take any of it in.

Even when asked if he saw this as a last chance he pretty much chuckled under his breath with a no not at all.

Arrogance was in abundance in front of the camera's. Didn't seem to have any regret at all.

What a terrible interview.

Even with his no 1 fans Tatum & Pearson trying to coax him in to the correct answer, he failed.

No apology or admitting he had leant from his mistakes.

He didn't see this as a last chance even after all the things he's done.

Cocky and arrogant as always.

People will still treat him like a god and he will still believe he is bigger than the sport, however with no remorse or even acknowledgement that he was in the wrong, it won't be long before something else happens.

I don't remember Kennett being brought in to interview after his ban.

Maybe Kennett was giving the opportunity to be interviewed but sensibly turned it down, something that Ward shouldve done giving his efforts last night, surely one of his advisers shouldve said to him do your talking on the track for the time being. On hearing Ward I am afraid it appears he hasn't learned from his ban and it wont be long before he is caught up in another spot of bother.
