GC, yes it was from an interview with Darcy and Darcy himself said that they have appealed but only the part with the points if I understood the article correctly.

Thanks Ghostwalker.

I suppose we must take that at face value.

Of course I have no idea how authoritative this Swedish source is.

But reports in the English press last year from a supposedly trusted journalist caused a whole load of debate about an 'off duty Policeman' and turned out to be utter tripe.

So who can tell?

I notice that this report appears to directly quote Ward himself.

So at least we have the word of a man we can all trust.

So true to form.

He had not appealed.

Everytime facts are produced.

We understand more fully just what a litany of falsehoods we have been fed from the Ward camp

TBF, Ward could have appealed the SVEMO not to change his average. After all the BSPA have ignored the ruling so SVEMO could I guess.

Admittedly it is perverse for the SCB to ignore a FIM CDI ruling.

And even more so to do that with the bureau chief making a public statement to that effect.

But it would be even weirder for there to be any real appeal process.

Whereby you actually request that an FMN, that has followed the obvious procedure, to then set it aside and ignore it after they have already carried it out.

I just think we try too had to find some way still, of believing this guy.

Each time the facts, when they emerge, suggest differently.

The results obtained by Mr Ward in all the Competitions in which he participated subsequent to the positive test, from 17 August 2014 until 27 August 2014, are cancelled, with all resulting consequences, including forfeiture of any points and prizes.

The red part seems to be the damming bit, it seems to suggest they expect his scores in all matches during that spell changed and the consequences applied. To be honest though I am not sure of the FIMs jurisdiction over our league structure, the Elite Leage is not an FIM competition and I wouldn't have thought they could impose this.

That said though if the SCB had teeth like it used to they would not need forcing, the changes would be applied immediately.

Whatever the outcome the whole world knows that Pooles title is now null and void

No it is in their rules and so I don't see how they could do anything else then to follow their own rules (* 1.10.1) . If they didn't I assume some of

the other clubs would file a formal complaint/appeal to RF which then likely would tell Svemo that they have broken their own rules.

He's given plenty of ammunition to do just that with!

I will say this though, I'd still have in my team if it was possible.

Me too. I'd have Luis Suarez back as well. I'd have happily had Kenny carter ride for the aces.

Doesn't mean I approve of their behaviour.

How so?

What some don't seem to understand is that it is perfectly possible to criticise, even strongly criticise a rider for their actions but still then support them.

Once his ban is up he is free to ride and I would gladly see him ride for Wolves.

Does it mean I condone his prior actions? No.

Does it mean I won't criticise him if he transgressed again? No.

We still have to wait and see if Darcy has managed to get a visa to ride over here this year. If he has will Poole use him or are they going to farm him out to other clubs for the rest of the season. He must be a little bit ring rusty after sitting around at home for months now. How long has he been in traing and how long has he been practicing, since the ban started.

There has been very little in the way of anything about the life of Darcy Ward in the press other than all the winging and wining and negative press we have heard for so many months. That is until everything went very quite for all parties.

If the decide to farm him out to other clubs, who will take the risk, of having him in their side, if he is not 100% match fit.
