The perfect person to test it on, they could bring it in to trail the night before he rides his next GP to see if he can be allowed to ride or if he fails a breath test. The only rule being that if he does fail, is that he was trailing a new product and that he will not be charged or even expect to race. If he doe's pass the test, then he will be able to go out every night and drink this stuff until it poor's out of his ears, Because he has no brain in there to stop it, from coming out of his ears or any other orrafhat matter. Or is this just some Aussie taking the the P**s out of Darcy

Oh leave off people do, Darcy has had his fair share of pisstake and ridicule, won't that do for some of you! It's just not funny or necessary any more!!

Yes, lay off the bloke.

He's apologised, stated what a stupid foolish thing it is to do and declared his wish to move on..

Oh wait.....

We should be thankful nobody in speedway management is so stupid

And I'm sure if they were the BSPA would act against such appalling behaviour.

5000! :cheers::D:t:

About half as many as norbold's hole I believe!!!

Don't worry Norbold - I don't think it will catch up. This thread is running out of steam now......unless Darcy releases his much awaited statement of course.

True - but only because the speedway world hasn't yet caught up and abusive telegrams are difficult to send ;)

I didn't realise speedway had any fans in Blackpool??!:o:P

NB. Great to see Darcy amongst the first to rush across to check on Kyle Newman after his big crash in Heat 2 at Poole last night :t:

Why is that great?

Riders should stay out of the way and let the medical staff do their jobs.

Always amuses me when people come out with such nonsense.

Now come on, if you were involved in an accident what would give you most reassurance. A fully trained paramedic arriving at the scene or a pissed up Darcy staggering up, beer bottle in one hand, fag in the other?

Darcy for me everytime

Joking aside exactly as you say, no one other than the paramedics should be allowed anywhere near the injured rider. In the case of a rider who doesn't speak English then, if available, someone who can communicate between the two could be allowed but definately not any Tom Dick or Harry from the pits (should Ward have even been in the pits anyway?)

He was standing in for the 'off duty' policeman who was absent due to him being 'on duty'.

But that situation really did once happen in speedway, not with police officers I grant you.

Oxford needed a guest for the absent John Davies, he was absent because he had joined Reading, and on this occasion the guest chosen was John Davies, must be the only time a rider has guested for himself.
