Sienna Ryan
Would that be for all league and GP racing do we know? would be from racing full stop like kennett, although has been also mentioned that 30 day ban maybe just whilst they investigate the matter

XTC38L
Performance enhancing vs non-performance enhancing?????? Its a question not a statement or fact!!! Wrong. They are both doping offences. The fim jury dropped the ball on this one they should have issued a suspension on the spot pending an investigation
pandorum
But he might only get banned from the GPs for the rest of the season?! He might only be reprimanded or have a suspended sentence?! The point is until the FIM decide and announce, he hasn't failed any tests or done anything wrong in any of the leagues! That's a fair point but he might not as well. If he does get a full ban it's unfair to tonight's opponents is all I was saying. He should have been suspended until the outcome and the outcome should hurry it's arce up as the sport looks even dafter especially when nobody is even talking about it except us I don't think he deserves a full ban just from the GPs this year and make him qualify for 2016 effectively ruling him out of next year. stratton
I think it's been mentioned already, but I also checked the length of Stefan Danno's ban... it was 8 months. Would ban Darcy to around mid-April 2015.... that seems around the right punishment to me. It is a real punishment, but would leave the door open for, hopefully, a wiser Darcy Ward to return next year. All the best Rob Common sense Rob, will it happen i doubt it ? again all these numpties on here who get off on crucifying Ward yet they do not realise they f..k the sport even more.

Alan_Jones
but its all speedway.... but its all motor sport....... why a difference Admirable sentiment, but consider the fact that we don't even have the same rules across the 3 domestic leagues... Love your sport Ove by all accounts, but this sport in this present CLIMATE can not afford to play god ok Ward has made a massive mistake but he did not HURT anyone.Ok he could of but he was not totally Pissed was he? Just over the limit how many people do that day to day it is not right of course. It was just a stupid error no more than that, Over the years with examples of TYSON,McEnroe,Lee, (ect) the personalties are big business always will be if Ward is harshly treated the sport will only suffer BIGTIME.Pull your head in Sidney. madame muck
He passed an alcohol test the following day in Poland after the Cardiff GP. A fellow countryman didn't even make it, which is probably just as well he said he was 'ill' to his team. Great party I hear in the Walkabout. Funny same Australian was drinking in walkabout late fri night too, before the gp!!!! Edited August 19, 2014 by madame muck
george.m
I might have missed it. But has Darcy come out and said that he shouldn't have been drinking? Or is all he has said is that he hadn't re-hydrated? Quite a difference between the two. One shows admission of one's errors, the other suggests it's OK to drink if you don't get caught.

YerRopes
Correct. Matt Fords comments/advice are available to read here Matt Ford could actually play a great PR card with this latest Darcy incident.. He could sack him (moral highground and all that).. After all, Darcy should get a ban and if he is not under a ban for 2015, would he still race in the UK anyway. I suspect that is why Poole and MF haven't commented so far...
