The White Knight
Any chance the verdict (I.e. guilty/not guilty)will be next week, but "sentencing" (if found guilty) to follow within the coming 45 days? That's very possible.
orion
Muddlo goes from bad to worse. The one quote in the article is that Muddlo has been calling on the FIM to show "transparency". Well, they are going to show transparency. In accordance with the rules they are going to publish their written decision so anyone and everyone who is interested can see their reasoning and decision. That is standard practice in any proper tribunal . You can't get much more transparent than that. It's exactly what Muddlo has been calling for, but what does he do? He goes on Twitter asking what the hell is going on. The man is completely bonkers. Muddlo has the nerve to talk about Transparency Irony of the highest order . Arson fire
My thoughts are with Muddlo and Starman during these worrying, unpredictable and somewhat turbulent times. #prayfordarcy🙏😇
weatherwatcher
It would be nice to see them give him the full 2 year ban, but can;t for one moment seeing that happen. He deserves to get at least a 12 month ban starting from the begining of this season, to show that they are taking maters like this seriously, not letting him get away with what he did scott free. He knew what he was doing and he went to ride in the meeting risking injury not only to himself but the other riders. He has never learnt his leason time and again. Will it bring him back to earth if he gets a ban and makes him look at his life and try to sort himself out, or will he carry on being an out and out plonker. Such a shame if he fails to get his life in order because the lad has so much going for him, if only he started to use his head a bit, I was going to say brain but I doubt that by the way he acts he has not got one.
SteveLyric2
I assume it is this article you are referring too? http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/11762497.Speedway__Darcy_Ward_made_to_wait_on_hearing_verdict/ If so, there are no quotes from the FIM at all. What you have claimed is an FIM 'quote' is merely the journalists interpretation of events. What we can read into it is the journalist and indeed the Poole/Ward camp have done next to no research into how these hearings work. I find that difficult to believe. What is far more likely is they knew full well the verdict wouldn't be given immediately, that there would be a wait before it was issued in writing, but continue to spin the "Woe is me, Poor mistreated Darcy" line for all it is worth. Well it was worth a try, as others were saying it was only Darcy Ward that had tweeted anything!!

Haza
The one thing everyone should remember FIM and speedway fans -Darcy was chosen in a RANDOM alcohol test had he not been chosen for this random test he would with out doubt rode in the Latvian Gp putting himself and the other 15 riders at risk including his big buddy Holder .i think its the other 15 riders who took part in that Gp who should decide Darcy fate . Also I wonder how long the FIM would have taken to reach a verdict had Nicki Pedersen been tested over the limit ? Star Lady
Agree with most of that Haza. What a lot of people seem to have forgotten is the risk to other riders. However I believe Had it been Nicki he would have had to wait exactly the same time, the only difference is very few people would have tried to defend him!
screm
Also I wonder how long the FIM would have taken to reach a verdict had Nicki Pedersen been tested over the limit ? Can you imagine the reaction on here had Pedersen been the one to fail the alcohol test, thankfully Pedersen is more professional than that.

Ward bar a few Poole fans is disliked by most
Tsunami
Can you imagine the reaction on here had Pedersen been the one to fail the alcohol test, thankfully Pedersen is more professional than that. Certainly is. He often posts his test results from meetings, and guess what, 0 alcohol. Model pro.
YerRopes
Certainly is. He often posts his test results from meetings, and guess what, 0 alcohol. Model pro. Totally agree... I understood that Nicki P didn't drink alcohol at all during the season.. Unlike someone else...

Starman2006
Do you trust young Mr Darcy, given his history ? Yes I do. He just a young misguided lad. Who really needs to realise how good he is and what he could attain in the next 10 years... Speedway should come first and formost. screm
I understood that Nicki P didn't drink alcohol at all during the season.. Correct, to be fair though most of the GP lads wont drink during the season, and certainly not the night before a GP.
Starman2006
Correct, to be fair though most of the GP lads wont drink during the season, and certainly not the night before a GP. And that's why im very keen to see an ALL TEST before every GP round.....
screm
And that's why im very keen to see an ALL TEST before every GP round..... It seems the sensible way forward, I would test all 16 in the main meeting plus the two meeting reserves, no picking and choosing, fair to everyone, and most importantly it would catch the riders who choose to put theirs and their fellow riders at risk.
