Chris Brown
Perhaps sometimes you want to take a look at yourself on here. Enough is enough. He's paid his dues, he's served his punishment. He should now be allowed to ride, with Strings attatched. Not that you would care.. If he is guilty then I am sorry but he has nowhere near paid his dues, he has missed a couple of months of racing and for what he is alleged to have done and then gone out on track 2 months does not scratch the surface sadly Lets just hope whatever the outcome he learns from it. The first thing he can learn is to get the hell away from Middleditch because he is doing himself and Ward no favours
Tsunami
You really don't understand the system do you. There are many documented cases with the FIM where the procedure has taken months. In cases where there was no doubt. They are not 'deciding' or 'making decisions' in that time. I understand the system probably as well as you, thanks to Alan Jones. Just think the delay is for a specific reason which we don't known at the moment. Anyway, not long to go then we will know.
uk_martin
Apparently Ward as requested multiple breaks in order to allow himself to re-hydrate. Will Joe be there with a truck full of Rehydrating Monster Energy Drinks?....the kind that left Darcy dehydrated in the first place in that resounding product endorsement of his? Yep, this is what he'll want...and lots of it. Rehab!!! How apt.
Starman2006
What makes you say Darcy has 'paid his dues, he's served his punishment', surely as of now that is complete nonsense (maybe different tomorrow of course).. I must admit I am bemused as to why Poole seem to be holding out for Darcy when they have such a consummate professional as Magic on the books who basically won the title for Poole last season... After all, should Darcy ride for Poole this year, he will most likely let the Pirates down yet again and prove himself to be an even bigger incompetent than the inept and hapless Middlo... Mate imo Darcy has paid his dues and done his time. IF, Darcy is allowed to ride next season, then i believe this will, serve as a huge kick up the backside. As ive said in another post, IF and i say if it happens again what he ALLEDGEDLY did, then the powers that be will bounce him from one end of the pits to the other, and then, he will deserve what he gets. But the one thing i believe that will keep him on the straight and narrow appart from forfilling his potential is that he will be a marked man..

Serious question? your wasting your breath asking that mate. starman cant hear any criticism of his beloved Middlo

screm
Welcome to the club! Oh and Remy Cabella blocked me a couple of Sundays ago. Mate imo Darcy has paid his dues and done his time. As ive said in another post, IF and i say if it happens again what he ALLEDGEDLY did, then the powers that be will bounce him from one end of the pits to the other, and then, he will deserve what he gets. In what way shape or form has Ward paid his dues, he hasn't served a ban yet and hasn't even been found guilty, he`s only been suspended. I agree we all want to see Ward back racing, he is box office, but he also isn't above the rules.
norbold
Latest news: Verdict just in from the F.I.M. Darcy Ward was found completely innocent of the charge of having too much alcohol in his blood before the start of the Latvian Grand Prix. The jury recognised that the test that had been carried out was by an off-duty policeman who just happened to be in the stadium and thought it would be a laugh to breathalyse a few riders just for the hell of it. It was noted that his equipment was at least 30 years old and completely unreliable. The FIM said they have no idea where their official tester was that night and also that they had no idea who this off-duty policeman was. "It's all a complete mystery to us," said a spokesperson, "which is why we tried to delay the hearing as long as possible in the hope that everyone would get fed up and no awkward questions would be asked." The jury also took into consideration that as Darcy Ward is an exciting young rider destined to become World Champion one day, they would not treat his case like any old rider's and he would be given special disposition to rehydrate whenever he likes in future. Because of his unfair suspension, the FIM have now ruled that he be paid compensation for the time he was suspended. This compensation to be worked out assuming he had won the World Championship with a maximum in every round he missed. All this plus the appearance money he would have received through being world champion to be paid alongside loss of league earnings etc. Furthermore, he will be entered into the 2015 GP Series, taking him with him the 75 points he earned in 2014, so that he will start the year with a 75 point advantage over every other rider. This was seen as "only fair" by a spokesperson. After the verdict was announced, a spokesperson for Poole Speedway said, "Justice has been done at last. We all knew our boy was innocent. The fact that in a television interview immediately after his suspension from the Latvian GP he said he had been drinking the night before and hadn't had time to rehydrate was not true as he had had nothing to drink at all. Ward had only said this because he was too drunk to know what he was saying...er....no...that can't be right...anyway, Poole will now win the Elite League instead of coming bottom as we would have done without the presence of the great Ward. I thank you."
John Leslie
Mate imo Darcy has paid his dues and done his time. Done his sentence, but committed no crime? But bad mistakes, he's made a few. He's had his share of sand kicked in his face, but he'll come through. Never mind failing alcohol tests in Latvian pits I`ve just found out Mr Ward has blocked me on Twitter, joining Kay Burley and Nile Ranger in so doing. What about Keith Chegwin? Hasn't he blocked you? Apparently he steals people's jokes on twitter, blocks the person and then posts the joke as his own.

Starman2006
Starry do you honestly think Middlo is good for Darcy?? Serious question? There's nothing wrong with Neil. John Leslie
There's nothing wrong with Neil. Are you a psychiatrist now? Darcy is his own man and responsable for his own actions, Neil cannot tie him to his bed 24/7 Probably best not to mention tying people to beds on the Darcy Ward thread.
norbold
Reaction to the verdict above has been swift. Social Media has gone into meltdown as people around the world are stunned by the harshness of the decision and a petition has been started on Twitter by Mahatma Gandhi:"We, the undersigned, want to complain that the greatest rider speedway has ever or will ever know has suffered enuff and he should be awarded both the 2014 and the 2015 World Championship. He is a great man and my sister says he's well fit. I have to go now as my mum says it's time for my Alphabetti."
SCB
There's nothing wrong with Neil. Darcy is his own man and responsable for his own actions, Neil cannot tie him to his bed 24/7 So Middlo can't walk on water and isn't the greatest team manager ever? C'mon, you're the one who constantly tells us how great Middlo is. Have you changed your mind? Edited January 30, 2015 by SCB
Gavan
There's nothing wrong with Neil. Darcy is his own man and responsable for his own actions, Neil cannot tie him to his bed 24/7 totally and utterly missing the point of the question as per usual. Old man Muddlo isnt good for Darcy because he actually sees no wrong in what he does and actually wants him to 'escape' any ban. If you could continually do no wrong in the eyes of your employee then you would continue doing what you were doing. If Muddlo come done hard on Ward a couple of seasons ago when he first caused trouble then maybe Darcy would think twice about the other things he has done. Darcy is responsible for his own actions but while he has the support of his employees no matter what he does then he is learning no lessons at all. Hope that clears up the question you were asked
