Yep at 16 Lee was on another planet, but been lucky enough to watch Gollob all over Poland, mate when he was on it, he was O so good! Nobody better at making long straights and getting wheels in line. Darcy is talented and natural but he isn't yet as good as Mark as coming from the back. My vote goes to Emil Sajfutdinov. At the age of 20 he had already won 3 Grand Prixs and finished 3rd in the total standings in 2009. He also won his first grand prix in 2009. Agree with you on Michael Lee, but I do think the PL today is a higher standard than the old NL. The fact he averaged over 7 for King's Lynn in the same season is more impressive.
