Bit of a pointless report. As a foreigner he has to have a job to come to before he can apply for a visa. He would not be applying if he had not signed for a team. The question now is "is it Swindon or will there be a surprise team signing announced"

Will be great to see Darcia tearing around the famous Abbey in red and not blue for this year, possibly the most exciting rider I've seen at on The Hill since Briggo in the late 60s. Should put a few hundred more pairs of feet on those grassbanks in Wiltshire, before the new stadium(with seating!) opens next year.

Like Jack Wilshere of the Gunners cant stand the stupid childish off-track/field antics but if they're wearing the red of Swindon or Arsenal come on my son!!!

As Howarth has tweeted he's out of an EL spot, I think the speculation time is over.

Disgraceful to dump a Brit IMHO.

Disgusting, but not surprising.

So what should Swindon have done then? Got rid of their best rider just to suit you?

People, eh?

Surely though Grachan, this flies in the face of issuing visa's to overseas riders as technically to employ him a Brit has lost his job!!!!!

Perhaps I am just naive.

(Irony Alert ;) )

I'm sure that Darcy Ward will see the error of his ways by not having to wait for a team place to become available...

He's so special in the eyes of himself and any promoter that British riders are not necessary for a British Speedway team and League and Team GB are is so highly thought of on the world stage...

(end of Irony)
