oldace
Will Darcy be making a statement? He was throwing the apples because he had some upsetting news a few years earlier, the school goldfish died apparently, he is not sure if he threw 1 apple or a few dozen, he often loses count on amounts between those parameters
Gavan
Grachan, I agree it's being very selective indeed. Not only that, but if you look at the years they were both in the Grand Prix (2001-2006), Rickardsson won three titles (2001, 2002 and 2005), and Nicki P only one (2003). Not that I'm belittling Nicki's achievements as a three-time World Champion at all. But Gavan's claims that Nicki P dominated Rickardsson in the Grand Prix is somewhere out of the realms of fantasy. All the best Rob Nicki's era was from 2001 onwards which is what we are discussing. Or to be fair 2003 onwards. From 2003 onwards his record is better than anyones bar Crump Above is a snippet from the post i wrote on page 395 I state from 2003 onwards his record is better than anyones bar Crump. Im not trying to compare Nicki to Rickardsson or say he was better. But from 2003 onwards i would suggest that bar Crump he was the best of that era. Is it that hard for people to grasp? lucifer sam
You said Pedersen didnt dominate TR, CRUMP, HANCOCK, OR GOLLOB. I then proved that he pretty much did (apart from Crump) in the times they rode together Gavan, this is what you said. That Pedersen dominated Rickardsson. He didn't. While they were both in the GP (2001-2006), Rickardsson won three won titles and Nicki P one. Nicki P is a fine triple World Champion, and I think any rider enters the realms of a 'great rider' once they win a third World title. But you're starting to stray into the realms of fantasy with some of your statements. All the best Rob Edited July 1, 2015 by lucifer sam

Not better than Gollob and Hancock no way, also Hancock won his first title in 97 which puts his achievements ( if you want to be picky at a higher level?.be good to see him back on a bike doing what he does best. Lets hope he stays out of trouble off the track this time.Great post that is what we all want to here. Thats exactly my point. Sidney in his bluster said Pedersen didnt dominate riders in his era like Rickardsson Crump Hancock and Gollob I pointed out that the other 3 started a good 7 years before Nicki on the world stage. So looking at the time Nicki rode against the riders Sidney mentioned i would say Pedersen did pretty much dominate his era bar Crump. Who were the best riders in the world from 2002 up to 2010? Crump and Pedersen Its so much fun proving Sidney wrong then seeing him blow his fuse Ive highlighted your statement in bold for you so you can undrstand how you have twisted my words like you always do to when your original statements are proved inaccurate. Lets look at the facts: The gp series started in 1995 so has been going 20 years. The best riders in that era are Rickardsson, Nielsen, Crump, Pedersen, Hancock. If we are looking over the WHOLE gp series then yes i would have Rickardsson and Crump above Pedersen. Possibly Hancock. Your original statement was Nicki hasnt dominated riders from his era. Go back and check your post its what you wrote. Nicki's era was from 2001 onwards which is what we are discussing. Or to be fair 2003 onwards. From 2003 onwards his record is better than anyones bar Crump. So your original statement of Nicki not dominating his era is false (bar Crump) Those 2 dominated the Gps for quite a while. If you want to change your statement to Nicki isnt the best rider ever to grace the series then of course there are gp riders with better records. Face facts you are backtracking on your original statement to dig yourself out of the hole your in. And just so you understand i cant stand Nicki Pedersen, think he is a dirty and not a nice person. However i respect his dedication and attitude to staying at the top for 14 years and unlike yourself can actually see the facts in front of me regarding his record at the top level Again you have been exposed by Lucifer Sam,not to worry though lets have one more go five riders Ricko, Crump,Hancock, Gollob, Pedersen the right order MY OPINION ONLY !! not set in stone for what it is worth. Can you understand that ?you make out i am all heated up i am not bothered you are RIGHT are you happy with that i hope so. Ghostwalker
It seems that there is some problems with Darcy's visa for Sweden: http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2015/07/01/visumstrul-kan-lata-wards-comeback-droja/ He is booked on a flight on Saturday but it is possible that his visa isn't approved by then. Its not a problem with any visa for Sweden. He is/was hoping to get his UK visa sorted for Friday and consequently booked a flight to the UK on Saturday. If that doesn't happen by Friday for some reason, his earliest flight back will not be until Monday which would not give him enough time to prepare effectively for Piraterna on Tuesday!! foreverblue
So he screwed up already before the suspension was over... what a surprise, well done Darcy. Surely you need a sponsor before you can even apply for a visa so he would have to have a team to ride for first before he applied for a visa therefore not entirely his fault. SteveLyric2
So he screwed up already before the suspension was over... what a surprise, well done Darcy. How has he screwed up? He couldn't apply for the visa, with his UK club's endorsement, until the ban was over, which is why he flew back to OZ last weekend. Hardly his fault if the visa office is inundated with visa applications is it?!
Grachan
If only he's had a long time off to get everything ready. Feel for him really!!! Have you ever tried applying for a visa for the UK? It ain't that simple. Plus he couldn't apply without a sponsor so had to wait for a team to sign him. I wonder who that could be?
