He says in Speedway Star "Darcy's solicitor told me last week that in 27 years of studying Law and being in court everyday he has never known anything as ludicrous as the timescale on this case"

More utter rubbish from Muddlo . Any solicitor of any seniority would not be in court EVERY day for 27 years for the simple reason that they have a business to run and they have junior staff and barristers to cover most cases for them. Anyone with even the most elementary knowledge of these things knows that any form of judicial process is often subject to much longer timescales than this, as the FIM rules show. I wouldn't take a lot of persuading that that's someting else Muddlo made up.

Muddlo is becoming a laughing stock and a disgrace to the sport.

But the Spar nonetheless keeps printing this nonsense...

I've decided that twitter is a bit like american idol. There are some talented people, but the real entertainment comes from those with zero talent, or in the case of twitter, too little brain to be allowed on the internet - the train wrecks.

The star have clearly decided that middlo needs to entertain us in print as well

Right. Correct. So now explain how that's me?I have never been sent home from work drunk and suspended. I have never suggesting that the rules that I am being punished using are unfair or that the people whos rules they are are haters. I have never suggested that I will continue to break the rules but will just try harder to cover it up next time.

I'm not sure I have ever condemned anyone for jumping a red light. And do you know the outcome of the case where I was accused of jumping a red light?

You admiited than you jumped a red light (as dangerous a manouvre as driving under the influence) but you didn't face up and accept the mandatory you wrangled for 10 months to get yourself off, (I presume from your inference).

Seems to me a similar parallel to a bloke who fails a breathalyser and wrangles for 6months (+45 days) to get off.

Glass houses, stones etc

Shouldn't that post be in the Ched Evans thread ?

quite appropriate to this thread I would have thought. Though it's possible the light may have had too much to drink (or not hydrated enough) rendering it incapable of saying stop or go.

Anyway, on to importat things.

looks like we will be heading into week 4 of 1, surely due some twitter action to mark the occasion

You are losing sight of the fact that the context of SCB's post was commenting on Muddlo's stupid claim that Darcy's solicitor who according to Muddlo has been in court EVERY day for 27 years has never known a case to have a timescale like this one. You have chosen not to comment on the utter stupidity of your hero's remarks but instead rather disingenuously twisted SCB's comments. I daresay everyone on here who holds a driving licence has at some stage jumped a red light or made some similar mistake on a spur of the moment decision because imperfect people make mistakes in the real world. Very few on here are taking a self righteous stance on what Darcy actually did , it really a matter of the mis-information coming from the Ward/Muddlo camp that is annoying people.

This is the latest comment on the Echo article..

I'm not sure if its someone having a laugh or its genuine.. I have a feeling its genuine!

"its obvious what FIM are up to, they are waiting for MAT to go ahead and pick another rider in place of him and then they will tell Darcy their verdict ,this will be a big loss to the sport with one of the best riders the sport has had for a long time they should think what they are doing ,he has paid his penalty in the time they have kept him waiting if I was Mat I would not pick another rider unto they reach their verdict then put the problem back to them, they are killing the sport."

If so, it shows how utterly deluded some people really are!

Love the idea of Poole not picking another rider so as to make it the FIM's problem because Poole won't be a good team.

To be honest, though, I do think they could reach a verdict quicker. I don't see why they would need the whole 45 days and it does have an impact on the club, who just need to know what is happening.

Is it possible that the lack of respect being shown to the FIM by those involved is meaning they are showing no inclination to hurry things up?

The only person to blame is Mr Ward though, Poole dont have to sign him at the end of the day

I have been seeing red traffic lights every day of my life for over 40 years, and some of my best friends are traffic lights, but in all this time I've never seen something as crazy as SCB's red light case.

How do we know that the photo of SCB's Renault Twingo speeding through a red light wasn't taken by an off duty naked policeman?

What if the photo had been photoshopped by a journailst from Autotrader who was standing in as photo processor in an unofficial capacity because he'd seen loads of photos before?

What if the red light wasn't the correct pantone shade of red - maybe a bit orangey?

My solicitor friend who has been watching traffic lights change every day for 27 years says he's never heard anything so ridiculous.

PRICELESS!!!!!

I'm still laughing.

Superb Post. :t:

no it's not you fool. People on here like foreverblue , chris4gillian even skidder stick up for their club but they always see both sides and in some cases agree that their club had done wrong or personnel have. You have your head squarely up the rectum of Poole speedway and as pointed out to you by your own fans you are an embarrassment to them.

What DO you mean 'even skidder'???

I'm almost offended now!! :cry::nono::P

You can just imagine the deliberations at the FIM now.

"Well, he's obviously guilty, the question is how long do we ban him for?

"I say two years."

"Too harsh. How about one year plus one year suspended?"

"I don't know. maybe just one year in total."

"Hang on a minute, I've just heard that Poole have named him in their team for this year."

"Damn! That's it then. We have no option but to let him off. He's a real smart cookie, that Muddlo!"
