Ghostwalker
Putting aside when it might be - what is the protocol for any announcement? Do the FIM have a daily press release in which it will be included? Will a specific press release be made? Will a press conference be called? Whats expected? I am not sure, but I think that FIM will obviously inform Darcy directly and also issue a press release.
severnsider
Just a thought but maybe the 45 day time period is something to do with WADA checking as well as just the FIM?

theknow 2
The FIM will be double checking all the evidence from the event and the recent hearing. They will be checking with WADA in regard if the sentence given is correct and lenght or if he is to be let off. They do not want any come back from WADA or Ward so they will be making sure the verdict is 100 % correct. This however takes time and if it upsets the rider or his suck up fans then its TOUGH !!!! You know that for a fact then, or is it just more supposition based on what you've heard might or might not have gone on. All we do know is that Darcy failed a breath test and the FIM called a hearing. We don't even know that Darcy has actually been charged with anything. TheReturn
A quoute from Mr Ward earlier today on Twitter, which I do somewhat understand his frustrations. He was silly, and I have little sympathy, but I do understand. It's has to be today. Must be. It will be What I don't understand are the idiots that reply back to him, some examples below. I have removed their Twitter names to protect the utterly stupid! you would think there would be some form of communication keeping you informed @FIM_live are a joke #jokegoverningbody let's hope so I feel so sad for Darcy,it's disgusting how he's being treated by those f-ers these people are pathetic how slow disrespectful to you and all speedway fans That said, amongst the lunacy was a rare and sole Tweet reply of sanity. hope you have learned from the experience and show better judgement in future. Last chance.

E I Addio
Imagine the uproar if WADA BSF deemed his ban to lenient. Ward's and his non-fans will break down the Internet! Equally there will be uproar amongst Darcy' s sycophants if they deem his punishments to be too harsh. To the vast majority the only imortant thing is that any ban should be fair in other words consistent with the current tariff for that type of offence with no suggestion that he has been treated either too harsh or too lenient because of who he is. Indeed, 12 or 18 month ban would be correct if guilty. Edited February 13, 2015 by theknow 2

Not at all, most of us just find it pathetic how everyone associated with Poole are waiving the 'victim' status over Ward (he should be in Liverpool!). If, as it appears he is guilty I personally think a ban taking into account time served suspended should be made, meaning he gets his slap on the wrist but is green lighted to ride again. I support Poole so your wrong there and any ban should not be suspended.
weatherwatcher
Would have been far better just chosing Majic and forgetting Ward. He should get the sentance that is persific for the case of trying to ride, not just at the lower levels of world speedway but the top of the sports showcase event. No ah well you have been suspended for over 6 months so we will just stick with that and let you ride again this season and forget the whole thing. From the day the decision is announced he should face a long and hopefully life awaking period in the life of Mr. D Ward, prise idiot off the track. Just give him the 2 year he should get and lets hope that if and when he doe's return that he has learnt some basic common sense.
Agrotron
Magic should be signed and team should be assembled by now, Darcy will get banned and I am sure we will all find out but there is a 45 day window so we will prob find out on the 45th day at the last hour lmfao. My estimation of Matt Ford has dramatically gone down by treating Ward bigger than the club as well as dedicating last season to Darcy when he never did anything, time and time again Ford defends this little twerp. I don't know but I don't think there has ever been a rider for Poole that has repeatedly given the club bad press like this tool has. Waiting for the usual must loved words on here bums on seats comment from the deluded.
BWitcher
The amusing tweets just keep on coming ... "utterly unprofessional treatment. Hope it's sorted today and in a favourable way. this is a big joke now the boy need to no total conspiracy!!! All getting beyond a joke. How long does it take to make a decision?" Sadly, the FIM don't seem to be interested in any bricks
weatherwatcher
From what I saw of Majic on the TV last season, he took the role of captain very seriously, a rider that will make the top of the tree and a true captain that liked to make the most and get the best from the riders in the team. I can see him getting to the tops of the GP series maybee not this year or next but haas plenty of time in which to do it. Why Poole and his sponsers have stuck by someone that only brings bad press time and time again beats me but they do. A brilliant rider, that is ruining his career, by the way he acts and behaves off the track.
