No doubt Wards getting a big lift from all his fans who seem to condone his continued misdemeanours....... thats just what he needs.....keep up the good work !

I don't think like Orion is saying anybody is condoning what Darcy did, assuming the test was right, i just think the majority want to see him ride again and forfil his potential..

My position is.....once he has completed his suspension/ban and he has learnt his lesson ,then yes,i would like to see him back.If however he hasn't learnt anything then i wouldn't really be bothered if he comes back or not

Absolutely, if Ward is found to have done wrong then he deserves all he gets IMO, but any speedway fan would want to see Ward back on a bike, back in SGP and back in the EL.

Ward is a great rider, a star and any other superlatives you can think of. However he also needs to grow up and get a reality check and realise he is the author of his own misfortune.

Well i do think he has learned from that ban so far. At the moment he is going to the gym, i guess he never did that before, nor did he do any work out.. So that makes me think maybe he is just getting a bit more serious about the whole thing.

We will see, i just hope he can come back in march and do what he does best, racing.

We should all be indebted to posts like this.

In a secular world it gives me great belief in the power of redemption.

The lame will walk again.

And the blind will see.

Saints preserve us.

Darcy has visited a Gym.

Ward is not yet banned just suspended, though its a hell of a suspension.

I have seen this on Social Media in regard to Poole and Darcy Ward. http://www.speedway-news.com/darcy-ward-postponement-may-drive-poole-pirates-act/

The website text is very hard to read. Here's a transcript of what it says:

Ward, 22, is right now under suspension from all speedway in the wake of coming up short a liquor test at the Latvian Grand Prix in August a year ago with the Aussie Ace’s regularly put off listening to now due on January 30.

It was reported that the legitimacy of the test had been caused to be reinvestigated yet with instability overarching and two Pirates group spots yet to be filled, Middleditch uncovered the club’s next move could be approaching.

“We still don’t have the foggiest idea about what’s occurring and we may settle on an early choice,” said Middleditch. “Matt (Ford, promoter) is away for a couple of days yet everything relies on upon to what extent we can hold up.

“In the event that Darcy does get a long boycott toward the end of the month then the riders we need may wind up somewhere else.

“It is an extreme call however Matt has a demonstrated reputation with making these troublesome choices. Whatever he chooses, he will have my full backing.”

In the interim, Poole have been given an intense begin to their mission for a third sequential Elite League crown.

The English version is in today's Bournemouth Echo.
