PHILIPRISING Posted January 2, 2015 Report Share Posted January 2, 2015 Re Speedway it seems the FIM take money from the riders etc but put very little back into the sport. It also seems to be the case that they gave the GP rights away to an organisation that puts very little or nothing back into speedway. I am waiting to see if the federations wake up and run under a different organisation who at least put profits from Internationals and World Championships back into grass roots speedway via the individual federations. If Ward is not included in the Poole team I would not object to him riding for Swindon but would be a little concerned when we race Poole. No i havent made the same mistakes Ward has off the track. i have to say allegedly but we have heard the stories of the hotel, we have heard of the fight, we have heard of the drugs, we have heard of the fleeing from police, and now he is banned for using alcohol. Yes ive made mistakes but not one on the scale he has, not even close. Those are serious misdeameanours. I used to have a mate who most Fridays would end up hurt after fighting , but amazingly it was never his fault according to him. Wether right or wrong Ward has been at the centre of a lot of issues and he cant be innocent all the time, he obviously puts himself in the wrong places or with the wrong people. It doesnt help that people like Middlo dont appear able to do the right thing and bring him into line. I dont know him personally either but if i came on here and said that i had a friend who had been involved in all the things Darcy had been , im pretty sure most people would form an opinion that either he isnt a nice person or that he needs some serious guidance, Darcy is no different. I want to see him back on a bike but he needs to serve his time, i just hope he can get the right people around him, and if he rides for Poole maybe Holder can drag him to one side and sort him out. Middlo isnt in my opinion the right person to. Gav, do you know Matt Ford from any other capacity than Promoter of Poole Speedway? I guess you don't as you say you've never met him so any comment 'disliking' or 'badmouthing' MF could easily be deemed as anti-Poole! As far as' your opinion being valid because you believe it' is concerned then I assume that everything a person believes is 100% valid then, despite it being pointed out that its not possible!! You really do have a big problem, and hate of our club, there is no other thread on this forum where your bias is so obvious, you jump from one thread poole to another thread indirectly linked to poole. If i was a mod, id give you a written warning. about your unquestionable behaviour towards our club. And then i would ban you, PERMANANTLY.. As I said if you was told if someone who had done the things Darcy was involved in then you would judge their character. It's simple really we all make mistakes but as of yet mine and I would guess most people's are not on the scale of Darcys but in your little world you seem to think he is just unlucky!
