I certainly don't agree with you there. Sids knowledge of racing is very good, and he could probably tell you plenty that you don't know about good horses before your time. Clearly you had a bad Christmas or you've had that wig ruffled, because you really do need to take a chill pill. You don't know everything, and its time you gave others the benifit of there knowledge. theknow 2 Posted January 2, 2015 Report Share Posted January 2, 2015 I DO believe that there are moves afoot by the FIM to disengage themselves from WADA as far as alcohol offences are concerned. WADA's obvious remit is to try and catch those cheating by taking performance enhancing drugs which one would imagine in the strictest terms does not include alcohol. Not sure whether this will have any impact on the Ward case. This is not to say that the FIM do not take alcohol offences seriously but rather that they feel the matter should rest with them and not require the intervention of WADA. Any further ban/sentence will be 'worldwide' as the current suspension is, which is also stopping him from doing the Aussie Championships. You admit Middlo has made regrettable comments? so you say im anti Poole yet in the same post admit that the Poole management team are not exactly shining examples of all that is good? Re Speedway it seems the FIM take money from the riders etc but put very little back into the sport. It also seems to be the case that they gave the GP rights away to an organisation that puts very little or nothing back into speedway. I am waiting to see if the federations wake up and run under a different organisation who at least put profits from Internationals and World Championships back into grass roots speedway via the individual federations. If Ward is not included in the Poole team I would not object to him riding for Swindon but would be a little concerned when we race Poole. Ward has made mistakes off the track haven't we all? but not to many on the track i won't come on here and kill him (ie) i don't know him personally my take is try and help the bloke with him knowing himself he does not have many lifelines left is that a reasonable compromise or not.? I guess you don't as you say you've never met him so any comment 'disliking' or 'badmouthing' MF could easily be deemed as anti-Poole! As far as' your opinion being valid because you believe it' is concerned then I assume that everything a person believes is 100% valid then, despite it being pointed out that its not possible!! Incidentally I note you chose to ignore the fact that Darcy Ward cannot take part in the Aussie Championships or any of the State Championships in December/January, to suit your 'belief'!!
