Coventry Vs Swindon 18/8/14

Recommended Posts

Absolute abortion of a meeting.

Surprised worrall was excluded to be honest, in real-time it got pretty tight as garrity came underneath him forcing worrall onto that horrible berm of dirt. Thought some common sense could have come in to play regarding the position of the riders and the conditions (could've been all 4, or 3 more likely, back)....but this is that complete tool and control freak Robinson we're talking about.

No complaints about Morris going...surprised Dave managed to get that one right.

Od just call it off and take the boys home now rosco...this has been a write-off before the meeting even started. No point getting guys injured in the circumstances.

well done to the bees promo team....

they seemed to be getting dogs abuse last year for the way they were running things...

this year they seem to have taken on board several of the fans' comments and are trying to improve things....

Good to see a promotion willing to listen to constructive criticism and make some changes rather than bury their heads with a 'you're talking cr@p, we are right' attitude that sadly so many seem to have...

I take it all back.....

shambolic.

The bspa do have a breathtaking level of incompetence don't they...

Are they trying to force sky to give up their contract by being so cr@p, as they believe fans stay away because it is on live?

Even someone deliberately fookin up something could not do it this well surely...

It seems that this referee, and Rosco, had an argument at Swindon.

ALUN Rossiter was involved in a furious row with referee Dave Robinson last night after another controversial incident at Blunsdon .

Robinson excluded Peter Kildemand in heat 15 after the Dane came together with Poole’s Chris Holder, and although Hans Andersen superbly won the re-run to ensure Swindon ran out 49-41 winners in the top-of-the-table clash, Swindon boss Rossiter was still riled by the decision.

This came to a head in the pits after the meeting had been officially closed, when good-natured banter between the pair turned into an ugly spat, played out in the pits in front of riders and supporters.

0-60 faster than a formula 1 car , wheels facing the wrong way at the bends , and you've no brakes ............................................ that's a doddle until you discover Mr Magoo does the track prep

I was looking forward to a good meeting tonight, with two play off contenders battling it out for the points. But what we get is bad referring decisions and a sh#t track again. Nobody wants to see this crap.

I know , it's dreadful . All joking aside , we don't need this

Let's have a Swindon walk out. Haven't seen one of those meetings where the home team ride round on their own for years!

Don't any Coventry fans ever dare post anything derogatory about the Leicester track again , it's 100% better than this dog turd of a track.

What sort of screwed up logic is that? We're not Poole fans and are capable of independent thought and saying this track is rubbish.

Obviously being an Eastbourne supporter I have no great affinity for either of these sides, however I have yet to see this track in a decent state. For certain Coventry supporters to come on here and slag off Arlington and everything Eastbourne is a bit rich when you see the dross being served up here tonight. And judging by the crowd numbers a fair few others have voted with their feet.

As for time wasting exclusions.......good ! Most of us are sick and tired of the "gardening" and ignoring start marshall requests at the tapes, and the rush back to the pits when there's a stoppage. We do need some consistency in applying these rules though.

Daft comment from Havelock.......
