Coventry Vs Swindon 18/8/14

Recommended Posts

Track isn't great, but neither is it awful.

All depends upon riders attitudes. I'm not one to hark back to the 'old days' as we all look at them with tinted spectacles but the riders of 20-25 years ago would have had no issues on tonights track.

Hans won a race by a mile and shook his head all the way back to the pits. The track is w*nk.

Case in point.

Get real, this track is ok, how can you say different after what Harris just did. Even North is giving a good go, twice unlucky not to grab the extra point, good effort from him.

How does having one, nearly two, decent races, out of 13, constitute the track being fine? I expect the people paying to be there tonight, and paying their sky subscription fee, were hoping that they'd get slightly better value.

Unbelievable.

You're very easily pleased then..

No, I like to see riders giving their all, North has done that tonight, I've never rated him before but been impressed with his efforts.

What do you mean get real. No point in trying who cares about the play-offs because you know some farce is going to happen before then anyway.

Ah righto, so you're happy that he poodles round making no effort, as long as he's safe eh. Thought you were off to the football anyway.

Not going to get many decent races when some of the riders are putting in little to no effort.

Well considering we were robbed of a couple of races by exclusions I reckon it's been an ok meeting, wouldn't be too chuffed if I were a Swindon follower but for a neutral it's been ok, some decent racing offered up.

When did you last see more than 2, 3 or 4 exciting close races in a meeting? That's about par for the course. Rossiter - what a big girl.......

Well done James Sarjeant!

Personally I dont think this has been too bad after the first few crazy heats. No Swindon meeting is complete without Rosco having a bleat :D

Until Pearson mentioned Poole winning at Lynn last week :P

Problem is tracks like tonight's are the ones that modern bikes and tyres hate.
