TMW
The 'precedent' is that its the home promoter's decision. Â Was that the one that BV called off, as BV had no riders and Poole thought they were on a 4 point cert and BV developed a leak?
SteveLyric2
Was that the one that BV called off, as BV had no riders and Poole thought they were on a 4 point cert and BV developed a leak? Absolutely - as long as they don't lie about it!! Â Its also why they chose to go ahead with the Sky meeting in awful conditions and then called for the abandonment after heat 10 as within the rules. ronettes3
I will be driving down from the Midlands for the Poole v Leicester meeting on Wednesday. I haven't been to Poole before so have a couple of questions: Â 1. Is the car park big enough to accommodate anybody who wants to park there or is there a good time to arrive to ensure you can get a space? Â 2. What time do you need to arrive to get a seat in the grandstand? Are certain seats reserved for season ticket holders - if so, is it clear which are reserved seats and which seats anybody can sit in? Â Thanks
Shaleshifter
Surely as Matt won't want to short change his fas he'll call this one off? Understand where your coming from but this meeting has been in the fixture list from the start of the season. Leicester have chopped and changed thier team since and have signed danish riders who ride in Denmark on wednesdays. Â Why would i come down to Poole to watch a rider that no longer wants to ride for his parent club?? As for what we all know Poole will do anything to win. Surprised MF hasn't called off this match seeing how he hates cheating the public `in the best interest of (Poole) Speedway.` Typical trolling Poole post. You cant help yourself can you with the constant attack of anything connected with Poole Speedway. Wolves are pathetic this season so you post needless tosh about the Pirates . Sad.

As it is, I think Matt is right, the meeting should happen. But last year he called off a meeting when he was going to have to use a 3 pointer as he didnt want to shortchange the fans. He's a hypocrite.

Just ignore the fact that a Poole fan made a pathetic attempt to suggest i would come to Poole to watch David Howe in action. Best read what i was replying to before you make a silly comment like the one you have. I KNOW Wolves are pathetic this season, So?? I KNOW Poole have had the rules changed to suit them this season. Now THAT is sad.

stevebrum
You don't 'know' that, even though you may suspect it and want everyone else to believe it!! Â Â The sequence of events - Poole want Compton/Compton drops from 15-25 on Draft list/rules around guests now apply to FTR/Poole get Compton - proves that is the only sensible reason. I don't want everyone else to believe it, i think its only the blinkered few that DON'T believe it. And you must be blinkered if you seriously haven't seen the amount of posters who have suggested the same thing. I think in a court of law its called `proven beyond reasonable doubt`. But you still don't 'KNOW' it to be true!! Â In any court of law, the guilty would be punished and guess what? No punishment, no objections from anyone....fellow BSPA members, SCB officials etc. Â As I've said umpteen times if there is fault then look to the BSPA MC and/or the Fast Track Co-ordinator - and stop bringing it up on every Poole-related thread!! Â We know that corruption took place that the BSPA/Phil Morris/MF/Poole are all culpable. That there is no dispute. I know it would suit you to brush every corruption under the table. The trouble with bad smells, they tend to smell on a regular basis.

stevebrum
In the time honoured BSF tradition, could I ask you to provide a link to this apparently undisputed fact? Â The links are all there. Look on the BSPA averages and draft lists. Benji has dropped thru the revised lists - its all there. There is a press release saying Poole wanted to use Compton in April. The rules about guests (FTR) was altered on the BSPA website on the Tuesday after Compton was declared. The links are all available to see. stevebrum
But still no link showing Poole had anything to do with it? Â Of course, Poole never do anything wrong. They are whiter than white. The facts are the only team to benefit the rule change are Poole - go figure.
