Panthers V Witches 19/8/14

Recommended Posts

The lads came back well there once it started looking like the panthers were going to take control. It certainly helped that roynons rides had all been used by 10

gave away some silly pts ipswich thro silly falls should have been a lot more comfy for the witches very impressed with Ellis tonight

You did though, in fact people in general are fickle, it's human nature. Don't think that it's particularly a Peterborough thing but with a small pool of regulars both Posh and Panthers know when they've got problems, The riders thing here is a bit of a red herring really!

Well yes, I guess that's true. People in general can be fickle!

Just got home what an entertaining meeting with some close racing especially heat 13. Well done to the Witches on the three points gained tonight , although it could have been 4 if not for falls for Cam & Adam whilst on 5-1's. Good solid team effort.

Peterborough carrying too many passengers, weak at reserve and Richard Hall was so far off the pace. Adam Roynan got better as the meeting went on. Lets hope he can stay injury free as he is talented as shown by two fine wins.

Anyway if Ipswich remain undefeated at home should be in the play-offs now.

Richard Hall ..........I believe I heard correctly that when interviewed by Kevin Long, he commented that he was currently 6th in the longtrack GP series? What a bunch of crap that must be now! With the standard that low, Simon Wigg must be turning in his grave. #wiggy #legend

On a ref note.

Heat 15 bend 1 Bjerre on the inside of Worrall pushes him wide and Worral slides off - no red light comes on until the riders are on bend 4 with Worrall still laying on the track. Barbara Horley's decision is all 4 back even though she never stopped the race until later in the lap.

Re-run: Worrall on the inside of Ostergaard pushes him even wider and Ostergaard hits the fence but somehow holds onto his bike although has to wobble off the track. The race is allowed to continue

My question is: Has the 'unsatisfactory start rule been changed so inclued the fact that a rider has to fall?' because I couldnt see any difference in either start appart from a rider hitting the deck

Your description of events is very accurate, well done. Most probably, if old Ulrich had gone down, we'd have had another go. So to summarise, Richie is smarter than Ulrich and Babs was not that smart at all, as she was mugged off. Happy days.......over and out. Although a PS is forthcoming. Very impressed with Roynons efforts, got dialled in and flew. Given his injuries and the fact that I've never been that keen anyway, fair play to the boy.
