Rayleigh
Well the reserves seem to be decisions parallel with Fawlty Towers O`Reilly or Stubbs. Sybil "why do you employ O`Reilly Basil?" Basil "because he is cheap" Sybil "he`s cheap cause he no bloody good" Lets hope the legend status is not tarnished and Silver the younger takes over after the splendid way he has run the raiders this season

iand
yes they are - weather permitting Surely it should have been announced and the local derby promoted. It may only be the Raiders but as a club we should be promoting them. We seem to be getting the simple things wrong at the moment. This can not be good for the future of Rye House Speedway.
cityrebel
I think the raiders are a seperate club as far as Len is concerned. That's why we had all of the father and son aggro earlier in the season.

Odds On
The new owner? What the same bloke who had promised Stadiums improvements. Place is a dump far worse than it has been no viewing from 2nd bend, half the back straight and 3rd and 4th bends. Two man team at the moment i feel for Edward Kennett lets be honest those with half a speedway brain predicted before the season started that this team would struggle, major changes were needed but the changes that were made were imo for the poorer of the team. Two man team at the moment i feel for Edward Kennett Well have to agree with WestHamboy on this . The stadium is a building site. A season which began with reasonable optimism has petered out and as a supporter of 10 years standing and I mean that literally. If you arrive within 30 minutes of the meeting you can not get a decent seat, to stand up all the meeting and be covered in dust is well worth the admission fee! The promises at the start of the season regarding the improvements have not materialised. Does anyone recall at the start of the season, Len Silver announcing that as the season progresses we would see great improvements to the stadium. Well where are they? We need investment in our club as a matter of urgency, we need Len Silver to go and bring in a new promoter with robust ideas, we as supporters need to be kept informed of stadium plans and updates. We are the lifeblood of this club and as such need to be treated with respect. Again another rant, but how can you go nearly seven weeks without a home premier league fixture. As at this stage for the last 4 years the club is dying on its arse through lack of a competitive team (Eddie excluded), lack of inspiration and as will be the case lack of crowds. Chris
Haven't got a problem with the two swedes going, but not a good way to do it, Robin has been poor and Anders just isn't the same rider since his back injury. He has lost all his confidence which is a shame as it looked as though he could turn into a very good rider when he first joined the club.

Alan_Jones
Agree with Chris. Pretty shabby way of going about things. You can guarantee it was not Len Silvers decision. Say what you like about the old boy, but that's not his style Mellgren & Aspegren out... Robert Lambert & Dan Greenwood in Unfortunately it's the modern way. On the other hand, we'd normally be moaning about the lack of any sort of decision at this time so it's not all bad.
